A perfect place to begin your culinary journey through Valtellina, with a menu that balances local specialties and Italian classics (applies also to the wine card). And if you don’t make it to the dessert at the table, there’s a gelato stand outside for your post-dinner walk. As a multi-generational group, we also greatly appreciated that the restaurant contacted us in advance about seating preferences, helping ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

Since we wanted to be sure of a table, we had already made a reservation from home. We arrived in Tirano in the afternoon. After exploring the town, we arrived at Merizzi's, quite hungry. We were warmly shown to our table and were able to order quickly. Both the appetizers and main courses were delicious. We ordered Salmerino e asparagi alla griglia con salsa olandese – Arctic char with grilled asparagus and hollandaise sauce – both times. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant – the value for money is 100% spot on.

The place is beautiful, it's comfortable even for a short time. The staff were quick and very kind. We had the gourmet pizza and it's highly recommended!!

Ok the vibes are amazing and the staff is reaaally nice. However, the food is not thaaaat great. The steak was good but the Ravioli was way too cheesy and strong. The tiramisu was really good too but the portion was way too small especially for the price.. but the overall experience was good.

It started poorly and then went downhill rapidly! The first glass of Franciacorta was flat, but was replaced without complaint. The char with asparagus: the fish was overcooked and dry, the asparagus was not fully peeled and was soft.

31/10/2025: Top-notch food, VIP service, obviously high prices.
29/10/2025: I don't know how this place ended up in the "famous" guide. We didn't dislike it entirely, but it certainly didn't convince us. The pizzoccheri were good, but not buttery enough (the cheese was good, but they remained a bit dry/compact). The pasta with wild boar ragù, on the other hand, was bad: it tasted like a normal ragù and didn't taste like game at all. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sciatt were very salty, and the bresaola was good.

La tigre nera pizza & kebab

02/03/2026: The service was very nice and the food was also good. It's probably the only kebab place in the area.
11/12/2025: One of the best kebabs I've ever had, delicious. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are excellent.
