20/11/2025: Beautiful place for an aperitif after skiing

26/08/2025: Nice and welcoming place, friendly service and delicious food. I recommend the panuozzi and for children the nuggets and there are also games for children to have fun so overall 4 stars ⭐❤️

26/07/2025: Filetto al pepe verde and Tiramisu were 10/10👌 I especially liked that the tiramisu was made with coffee and wasn't too sweet like in many other places.

18/07/2025: Upon arrival, even though there wasn't a seat occupied, they asked us if we had a reservation 😜. Then every 5 minutes they came to check if we were finished, not even very discreetly. The pizza is good, but 80 euros for 4 pizzas, two beers, and two Cokes seems a bit excessive.

24/08/2025: The food is good, but in winter the ventilation isn't the best and there's a strong smell. However, keep in mind that it's a refuge on the slopes. It's also great for just going up to eat without skiing.

14/08/2025: We had a great time. We ate venison with polenta and found it very well cooked. It's located on a plateau that can be reached by cable car, or if you feel like walking, you can also do it on foot. You can have lunch outside, and there's plenty of space for children to play.

16/11/2025: A surprising experience, I must say. I returned after several years and I find it under new management. Everything is good but the prices on the appetizers are a little exaggerated. To be honest, when the staff asked me if I would like some more pinzocheri, I didn't think I would have to pay for it at the end. For the rest, it's ok, but I won't be returning again.

13/07/2025: La location ci è sembrata subito suggestiva, trovandosi all’interno di una cantina. Il cibo è stato ottimo, gli sciatt davvero deliziosi e il piatto di formaggi con prodotti di qualità. Il prezzo era corretto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Il sevizio molto curato e veloce.

13/07/2025: Ottimo, sia il servizio che il cibo...esperienza da provare a Bormio, se ami il buon cibo e la professionalità del servizio devi assolutamente passare da qui. Prezzo giusto per il servizio avuto. Solo un piccolo consiglio, lavorare sulla luminosità degli ambienti.

28/08/2025: We returned at the end of August 2025, returning from a hike to Alpe Armisola, and took the opportunity to stop for lunch, where we enjoyed an excellent pork shank with potatoes. Kudos to the kind and helpful staff and to the new management, which has revitalized the attraction of visiting this beautiful mountain area.

22/07/2025: Family lunch after a pleasant walk. The manager and waiter were both excellent. It was a pleasure to share. Excellent food (sciatt, polenta, and sausage). Good wine. The host is Dino... he may seem "strange"... but WE really like strange people. And by the way, I'd like to remind you that Doctor Strange is one of the Avengers... just to say... and that when you get here... time stands still... and it's nice that it is so... the rush doesn't allow us to enjoy the view and the encounters. Keep Calm and lots of stuff! ☀️The kids are super happy and having a blast! So: TOP. We'll see you again soon!

07/06/2025: This is not agriturismo mon Chéri the photos are of the previous, fantastic agriturismo il Castagneto. Maybe it would be correct to update the photos too, not just the name.....

16/10/2025: Positive: Centrally located in Santa Caterina. Half board / food is really good. Very good for mountain bikers: bike room, workshop, car wash, spare parts, rental bikes, shuttle service can be booked, free laundry service, tour tips, etc. Good for motorcyclists. Elevator in the hotel. Cozy decor in the restaurant, with many authentic antiques. Neutral: The rooms, beds, and bathroom/shower are a bit small, but OK. A bit limited on-site parking. The hotel is a bit older, but OK. Some rooms face the street and are therefore a bit noisy with the window open. "Not so good": Although smoking is prohibited in the hotel, there is a smell of smoke at times. Someone is smoking in the hotel. The smell permeates the hallways and sometimes even reaches the rooms. That's not very pleasant. Overall, though, it's recommended for athletes and motorcyclists. I can't comment on staying during the ski season.

27/08/2025: A well-run hotel with a tried-and-tested kitchen and comfortable rooms. The hotel couple runs the establishment with patience and love. Guests on two wheels are especially welcome. There's a shuttle service right in front of the hotel 😄

08/08/2025: Original, excellent service. I stop for breakfast, and always find excellent bakery croissants.

10/12/2025: Delicious food, great service, and very good drinks. I recommend it, but ignore the negative reviews. I don't know where they came from.

21/11/2025: 17 euros for a slice of Sacher torte (I couldn't cut it with a fork, it was so old), a piece of strudel, and a hot tea—all this because at 2:30 PM they didn't even make us a toast and the restaurant had already closed the kitchen... I'm not going to say it's better.

11/11/2025: Not good for Livingo. The bread was frozen in the middle, the meat, ordered "well done," arrived raw in the burger. The meat tasted like old meat from the animal.

02/06/2025: Location carina sia interna che esterna, sarà stata per la domenica affollata ma il servizio è stato deludente. Lunghe attese a partire dall'ordinazione Buono il cibo anche se mi aspettavo qualcosa di meno turistico. Abbiamo chiesto il dolce ma è arrivata solo la lista. L'attesa prolungata ci ha fatto passare la voglia così ci siamo alzati e diretti in cassa.

25/05/2025: Bastano poche parole per descrivere la cordialità, l'ospitalità che ci ha dedicato il titolare. Posto magnifico, noi abbiamo solo dormito, ci è stata offerta una ricca colazione con prodotti fatti in casa. Sicuramente da tornare.
