18/03/2026: I always stop for a coffee ☕️ when I go to Voghera. I always find parking. The atmosphere is familiar but very clean and tidy. The staff is very kind, fast, and competent. And above all, it's an old-fashioned trattoria where you eat a lot, healthy, and truly authentic food. The owner is exquisitely kind and affable. I highly recommend it.

La cucina è impeccabile e la qualità dei pasti giustifica a pieno il prezzo che si paga. Ogni piatto ha una sua identità e una sua storia, che sia un primo o un secondo, di terra o di mare, o che si tratti della loro "carnazza", lo chef sarà sempre felice di raccontarvi e anticiparvi cosa starete per assaporare. Consigliatissima anche la pizza se si vuole andare più sul semplice.

16/12/2025: Spadafora regular customer. I buy desserts here every occasion. Today, a total disappointment. I bought a 3-chocolate panettone because I was invited to dinner and wanted to make a good impression. The box had a 3-chocolate label! A panettone eagerly awaited among friends, raving about its deliciousness. Too bad that after cutting it, I realized it was traditional. By the time it was cut, we'd eaten a few slices. The next day, I called the place, and they told me to come and exchange it. I thought it was an exchange, but no...I would have had to buy it again. And I was shocked. I buy a product with the description of one item on it, but instead I find another type of product and I have to pay for it again? The clerk points out that if I hadn't eaten it...he would have exchanged it. But excuse me, if I didn't cut it, how could I know it wasn't the flavor I'd chosen? And the clerk said, "If you'd only cut it and not eaten it, I would have exchanged it." And I said, "But to cut it and not eat it, I would have had to handle it anyway. Would you have put it on sale anyway?" And he said, "Yes, I would have put it sliced ​​on the counter." And so I walked away with a panettone I didn't choose, dissatisfied, and aware that they put stuff handled by others on the counter? And the clerk told me the owner didn't allow an exchange. Well, I don't agree to be treated with condescension and with stuff handled by others on the counter. You've lost a loyal customer who had done excellent advertising until now.

30/10/2025: After 10 years, I wanted to return to this historic sandwich shop, where I had childhood memories of summers spent with my family, who are well-known in this area. I couldn't fault the quality of the sandwiches, which is why I insisted on returning with my children and a couple of friends. Unfortunately, I can't speak highly of this quality, especially regarding the owner's unfriendly personality (which fortunately doesn't apply to the employees). I had a small child with purely physiological needs related to his age: crying from hunger. He was breastfed, so (for those who don't know) an immediate response to his needs. The moment of crying was clearly not appreciated by the owner, who waited until the men had left to stop me at the entrance and show off his "gentlemanly" side, pointing out that with children so young, I should have UNDERSTOOD (me) that it wasn't the case to go out and relax, as for me, crying was normal because he was my son, but he had customers to satisfy. I was shocked. It's a shame, as great was the happiness of returning with my new family, so great was the sadness with which I left: even with a happily full belly, the food went down the wrong way.

The new management of Nuova Caffè welcomed me and my guests with both spontaneity and professionalism. I highly recommend it to anyone for a special day!

26/11/2025: Mediocre place, 10 cents surcharge on coffee for table service (?) - not mentioned as a rate -, unpleasant food smell on our clothes and we were also quickly invited, after having a coffee, to leave while the tables were being set up for lunch…

14/12/2025: Discovered by chance, 1980s-style, but good value...basically a classic trattoria for those who want to eat well. Open for lunch with an à la carte menu...the only drawback is that in the evenings, reservations are required for large groups of at least 15 people.
