Great place for lunch. Very extensive menu and reasonable prices considering we're right next to the central university. Recommended 😁

Il Corso is an excellent option for a quick lunch break, offering excellent value. The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, and prices are average. They also offer aperitivo; drinks are standard. It has a covered terrace and outdoor seating. The only drawback is the closing time (10:00 PM).

A relaxed spot across from the university. Lots of students, professors, and lucky tourists like us 😉 The pizzas are delicious (we've never seen so many 😲) and the salad is crisp and flavorful. An excellent beer (Moretti?) and my glass of Chardonnay was remarkable 🤗 In short, a restaurant we highly recommend and will gladly return to 😊 as the food is delicious and the prices very reasonable 👍👏

Located near the castle and across from the university, it's small but cute and well-kept, with a great selection. The pizza is good, and they're very fast... I can't recommend it enough...

29/05/2026: I ate there during the week, basically the fixed menu for 13 euros. Everything was good and plentiful. The side dishes were delicious and the fish was truly excellent. One important note: photos of B. Mussolini hang on the wall. You can judge for yourself.
25/05/2026: The street-facing window isn't inviting, and the interior is stuck in the 1970s, perhaps even earlier. But the cuisine is sincere, truly traditional and expertly prepared. The fried eggplant, Vari salami, and Piacenza coppa ham are excellent. Far from a rediscovery of traditional cuisine, it has never been forgotten here! The hostess is extremely kind, and the prices are very fair.

02/05/2026: The best place in this city you can find Vietnamese foods.
16/04/2026: At the recommendation of a friend from Pavia, I chose this superb restaurant for lunch with a group of students visiting nearby Fabbricapoggi. They welcomed us even though Tuesday was their closing day! Quick service and good food! In addition to a rich daily menu, including a first and second course with side dishes, we also had a choice of delicious pizzas. They were truly kind and absolutely deserve five stars!
