15/12/2025: We had dinner with excellent pizzas... really super desserts... service provided by young but very polite and prepared guys... truly an excellent place

06/12/2025: 12:00 PM. We stumble upon this place—unbelievable! An old Niguarda farmhouse, preserved and renovated, that watches passersby with consummate discretion on Via Ornato. We choose the €10 tourist menu with various options. We order penne with tomato sauce and arrabbiata sauce, a grilled salami, a mixed salad, and French fries. Water and half a glass of red wine are served, followed by a caffè corretto (a strong espresso). Total: €19. The place is packed, but the young women at the tables (both Italian and foreign) are very kind and quick. This trattoria, obviously in its category, is very competitive; it also offers pizza. But the added bonus that surprised us is the charm the old farmhouse exudes, as if time had stopped in the 1950s (an older gentleman with a Stalin-style mustache looks at us slyly after our sumptuous meal). Popular cuisine and distinctly Italian raucous fare in one of Milan's most distinctive areas, almost a mockery of the high-end, radical chic restaurants so popular today. Timeless, reasonably priced, and more than decent food. It's worth returning in the evening when the shadows lengthen and the feeling of déjà vu intensifies.

25/11/2025: I went with friends, we had an aperitif and a drink. We also played Russian roulette and the lottery, where you could win prizes with the establishment's emblem. It was a lot of fun, and the owner and employees were very kind to everyone. Thank you so much!

14/10/2025: Getting a riverside seat and a buffet with cocktails for 15 euros during happy hour was a steal! The food was fresh and varied (I loved the paella), perfect for Taiwanese palates. The staff were also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place to Taiwanese travelers. :)

15/11/2025: The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. We felt welcomed and the service was impeccable. Our glasses were never empty, and the food arrived promptly. Excellent value! The portions were generous, and the taste was exceptional. I recommend it!

13/12/2025: Top service, very kind staff and delicious pizza

09/12/2025: Terrible experience. I entered, drawn by the special offer with the University of Milan, and not even a hint of a smile. After a few minutes of sitting down, they told me "students takeout only," without even giving me cutlery, which I had to ask for, forcing me to look for a bench in the cold Milanese December weather. No other affiliated restaurant I've been to treats students like other customers, as if their presence in their squalid establishment was a problem. I'm attaching a photo to provide further proof of the miserable treatment I received: 30 grams of pasta, 30 grams of chicken, 5 fries, and a piece of bread. Perhaps enough for a newborn. Furthermore, in other restaurants, everything is much more filling and the staff is friendlier. I'll ignore the quality, because that's what you'd expect from a very cheap restaurant run by ethnic minorities. Besides being miserable, they have no vision, given that if it had been good, I would have told my friends and we'd have returned together—a group of 10—next time. Too bad.

07/12/2025: We really had a great time! The waiters are incredibly kind and helpful. The food is excellent: I had pasta with broccoli and pecorino cheese, delicious and plentiful; my boyfriend had the cutlet, large and incredibly tasty. They even brought us a complimentary appetizer of polenta with cheese, which was spectacular! Compliments to everyone who works here, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. We'll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

25/01/2025: A very good experience! Warm and welcoming staff who didn't hesitate to help us when we arrived panicking, without battery, and unable to find a place to charge our phones. They kindly sat us at a table near an outlet. We were able to enjoy very good drinks and a sandwich that I won't forget! This was despite the very late hour. Moreover, the place's old-world charm allowed us to enjoy its beautiful decorations.

20/09/2025: We stopped by chance, craving homemade pasta, and were enchanted! Excellent cuisine: fresh, homemade, delicate, flavorful, and high-quality. Lots of choices (pasta, rice, meat, fish, vegetables, potatoes). You can choose your pasta sauce. Top-notch service, and you can eat under the porch. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: Well, what can I say? Vincenzo is an exceptional person! And as for the food, I have to say I finally ate magnificently here in Milan. It was about time! PS: Go and learn from Vincenzo how to cook, don't worry!
