Al Portico restaurant .. simple and nice location just a little hidden .. kind and attentive staff .. good food I found these photos on my PC and I decided that I had to publish this review because from a distance of time and having been there several times I decided to do it.. the lady who ran it (I don't know if she's still there) was always kind and attentive towards us even for a simple working lunch.. which I recommend..

18/05/2024: Clean and tidy environment, simple and direct service, friendly and quick serving, I have known Rino and his family for many years, ever since he and his brothers managed their parents' restaurant in Quarto Oggiaro very well, Rino is a born champion, as his children and his wife who welcomes customers with discretion and warmth.
Excellent cuisine, the flavors are direct and delicious, but it is in the pizza that Rino stands out, he already made gourmet pizza more than 20 years ago... When I go to him to have a pizza made, I give him free hand to let me have fun and fun is guaranteed, small detail if there are 4 of you they will give you a great pizza tour....
What can I say, highly recommended!

21/08/2024: Haven't eaten anything. The view was the most exciting thing. Otherwise very expensive. Cocktails weren't for my taste either - but that's very subjective. In my opinion it's not worth it if you don't have money 💰 to give away.
17/08/2024: My visit to this restaurant was fantastic! The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, and the wine selection was excellent—perfectly paired with the meal. The views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to come back!

07/08/2024: I don't even know what to say to describe this place, every time it's always a confirmation, the best ice cream I've eaten in the area, devastating tastes, the young girl with braids is enchantingly beautiful and very kind, I highly recommend this ice cream shop for everyone!

04/08/2024: Good cicchetti with a glass of prosecco good pizzas internal environment a little noisy but nice outdoor garden but it was too hot and then the zzzZzzare also didn't spend €35 each in line with what was eaten perhaps to improve the desserts.
01/08/2024: Eaten in the heat by mosquitoes and pizza brought on wood that I don't know if it's up to standard. Ordered bottle of water which arrived hot. I honestly thought it was better given the reviews. Place to forget

Quite simple but authentic menu, I ate arancini, they were homemade and excellent. The prices are more than fair and you will get what you pay for.
Small place to eat seated but you have to get your dishes from the counter, that doesn't detract from the quality of the meal!

10/08/2024: Food quality was as expected. However the service was an underwhelming experience. We have waited approximietely 15 minutes for the menus to be delivered to the table. When ordering to dishes we weren't offered to order any drink except water as the waiter rushed off to next table. Every time (3) there was a different waiter. Never have I as a customer felt so neglected.

14/07/2024: Overall good pizza but really expensive prices, yet another place where pizza costs 10 and you leave paying 20 without any special drinks but only for super expensive water, cover charge and coffee. And even for lunch the prices (and cover charge) are the same, expensive.

Very kind personal welcome and good dinner recommended.
11/05/2024: I stayed in this property due to its proximity to the Milan fair.
Excellent condition both externally and internally. Ample parking, spacious rooms, complete with every comfort and clean.
Abundant breakfast that adapts to every need.
However, I have to remove two points from the review because there are things to review.
My room was on the first floor, next to a terrace open onto the reception (I attach photos). The doors of the rooms are not soundproofed and therefore I found excessive noise coming from the entry or exit of people from the reception (in addition to all the people who obviously pass through the corridor on the floor to access their room).
The door opening system is also noisy... I could tell you all the times my neighbors enter their rooms...
To top it off, the windows are also not soundproof and my exposure was on the street. Luckily the road is not very busy at night but in the morning I was woken up by a car stereo blaring.
If BW will work to fix these aspects the structure will certainly deserve five stars!
