08/02/2025: Bar in front of one of the offices of the Polytechnic University of Milan. The place is not very large, but it also has some tables on the lower level. The menu is nice, with delicious and tasty dishes. The spinach flan was good, with Venere rice and feta, but a colleague tried the creamed cod with polenta and another the chicken with potatoes and everything turned out to be good. The deconstructed Sicilian cannoli is also very tasty. Fast service and absolutely good prices for being in Milan. If you need to have a quick meal, this is absolutely recommended.

14/04/2025: We really felt at home! My partner and I stopped here on recommendation for a quick lunch and La Fossa directly exceeded our expectations. The dishes are simple, plentiful and tasty. As far as the service is concerned, it is excellent, and it is the real strong point of this place as well as the value for money.

02/07/2025: This is a great place for an easy after work drink and aperitivo. Wonderful service in a friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The meats came with a range of cold cuts, delicious cheeses including burrata and some of the best bread I ever had in Italy. Would highly recommend this place if you’re staying near Centrale and want to have a quick bite or are just looking for the perfect place to have a drink and a relaxing afternoon. Would definitely come back here.

29/08/2025: I went for dinner with friends, and the pizzeria is very nice and clean. The pizzas are delicious with quality ingredients, and the waiters are very kind and helpful. The only downside is the wait for the pizza is a bit long, but otherwise, everything was fantastic.

26/08/2025: Three of us. Waited twenty minutes for a table. Extremely expensive craft beers. The ortolana pizza, buffalo mozzarella, and capriccia were good, and even the cacio e pepe potatoes. Service was worse than inattentive. Forgotten beers and water, ordered twice. They arrived after the pizzas, and after fifteen minutes they take your plate away from you and "invite" you, with more than a few subtle gestures, to leave. You barely have time to chat with your friends before the waiter insistently asks if you want dessert or coffee... And then the bill arrives. It's a shame because the place is nice, but there are others where they don't put the so-called pepper on you because they're closing. I don't know how to describe their haste... Good evening. In response, if I remember correctly, Monday or Tuesday evening. Kudos to you for the unexpected reply.

I really liked the very informal environment, which is reminiscent of a trattoria, the old table, the chairs each different from the other, simple and warm. The starters and cured meats were very good, we had 2 first courses: the agnolotti tasted of nothing, the gnocchi tastier. The packaged desserts are a tiramisu and a torrentino. 12/06/2025: It's the second time we go for an aperitif at the Mac Mahon café and it's one of the few places in Milan if not the only one to have very honest prices for an aperitif and in addition to well-prepared cocktails they also brought us a cutting board with cold cuts, cheeses, crisps and peanuts. The staff is friendly and helpful. A guarantee!
