21/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! Very friendly and welcoming service! We didn't book and they didn't have any problems, on the contrary! The owner helped us a lot, especially with choosing wines, and they even gave us a glass of prosecco to welcome us! Good food at a good price.

16/05/2026: I was at the Piccolo Principe under the new management. The reservation was fine and the staff were friendly, but the rest was a disaster: - As soon as we entered, there was a strong fishy smell in the dining room; the exhaust fan didn't work. - The dishes: Catalan-style shrimp with overly strong onions, octopus on mashed potatoes with only two tentacles, grilled fish overcooked and inedible except for two prawns and a piece of cuttlefish. - Lugana wine served lukewarm and of very low quality, despite being on ice. - Risotto with scampi and burrata was barely acceptable, the rest was overcooked. We spoke with the owner and her daughter, the chef, who is about 20 years old. The owner was honest and kind, and considering the situation, she charged us a symbolic €10 service charge. The worst part was that when we left the restaurant, we smelled so much of fish that we had to take a shower and put our clothes to the wash at home. There used to be a great chef, but now with the new management, the quality has plummeted. Given the prices charged, I expect much better. I don't recommend it!

09/05/2026: A wine shop worth checking out. Very friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and the option to serve yourself appetizers to accompany your aperitif. I'm teetotal, but they still served me a non-alcoholic wine of remarkable quality. Beautiful display of wines. Excellent value. I'll be back.

02/05/2026: For a corporate event, we decided to hire this gelateria to create the cake. The birthday boy is a lover of traditional desserts, and after consulting with the owners, we opted for a reinterpretation of the classic diplomatic cake. I've rarely heard so many compliments on a dessert! The cake, despite its considerable weight (between the pastry, cream, and soaked sponge cake), was extremely light and well-balanced. The cream was incredibly fresh, the pastry crumbly, and the sponge cake extremely soft. A truly successful dessert. I highly recommend Gelateria Ferrighetto if you're looking for the flavor of traditional desserts with the lightness of modern ones. (Special mention for the excellent quality/price ratio and the kindness of the owners.)

22/04/2026: I got a slightly strange impression of the place - a large room without guests - and a slightly surly staff. The prices were reasonable and I chose a risotto and a glass of wine. The wine was good and the risotto was the best this year (and cost half as much). 13.5 Euro for the whole thing. My new favorite restaurant in the Piola neighborhood.

The product offering is varied and of excellent quality, both for gelato and pastries, with always fresh and beautifully presented. The prices are also in line with the quality offered and the industry average, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place definitely worth a visit, especially for the attentiveness and kindness of the staff.

19/05/2026: Negative. I was planning on stopping for lunch, but they asked me to leave my bike outside on the street instead of on the outside veranda, in plain sight, even though there was no one around. I left and had lunch at a more courteous and accommodating place 3 km further on.

18/05/2026: A truly wonderful meal of meat with my classmates. Compliments, everything was excellent, including dessert, which, for me, who have a sweet tooth, alas, that portion of bunet at other places was enough for two! Thank you, you were so kind and friendly.

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere: no posing, an incredibly family atmosphere, and a contagious joy. In an instant, the cultural event transformed into a collective toast where everyone knew each other. Both the themed drinks prepared for the occasion (invigorating and super creative) and the delicious appetizers were excellent, perfect for the evening.
