17/04/2026: I've been frequenting this restaurant for many years. It's always been a go-to spot for lunch and dinner, offering excellent value. The restaurant is truly beautiful and quaint, boasting an excellent location along the canal. For lunch, there's a full menu of your choice for €18 (plus other options) with both meat and fish dishes, generous portions, and average quality. This restaurant's strong point was a fantastic fireplace for grilling meat. Lately, I've been disappointed with both the quality of the meat and the cooking (guests' requests weren't met), not to mention the price. Over the years, service has declined somewhat, as has quality, with prices rising, likely due to rising raw material costs rather than a commitment to quality.

12/04/2026: It's an old and well-preserved place, evoking tradition without compromising on current trends. The quality of the grilled meat is excellent. The appetizers are ordinary and not particularly high-quality. The service is lacking, and the overall price is too high.

22/04/2026: We were seated immediately. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. The ravioli with burrata and shrimp are great.

18/04/2026: I have to say I was very surprised to have such fantastic quality food in such a touristy area. I will definitely come back.

24/04/2026: A working trattoria near the church, on the corner of a courtyard. Good food and very friendly waitresses. The bartender is a bit rude when it comes to strangers, but we got along fine.

04/02/2026: Being in the Repubblica area, we stopped at this bar for an aperitivo. The place is large, cute, and clean. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes. They were brought to us with a bag of chips. There was probably a misunderstanding because we also wanted something to eat, so we asked for some appetizers... We had to wait a bit, but then they brought us a plate with several tasty items. The aperitivos were well-made, and as I said, the food we ate was good, too. So, aside from the small inconvenience, this bar has a positive review. Another pleasant surprise is the price, which was fair for what we ate and for the area.

02/05/2026: 2026 Damn, I realize I've waited six years to eat a real pizza again. The 4-grain dough, like a true master baker, without frills or gimmicks. Rustic and original. As a huge bread baking enthusiast, this evening I ate the marinara, with extra garlic, the best I've ever had. Thank you so much! 🙏🙏🙏 2020 Top pizzas, different flours, all homemade! The chickpea flour dough is truly delicious, congratulations!

07/05/2026: While celebrating the graduation of our friends' son, I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant-bistro located in Milan's Garibaldi district. The restaurant exudes a Milanese atmosphere, evident both in the decor and, above all, in the menu. From the risotto alla Milanese to the cotoletta alla Milanese and the black pepper beef slices, everything is washed down with an excellent wine list from Italy's most renowned wineries. Truly, a five-star culinary experience, so if you're in Milan like I was, come visit this restaurant and savor the excellence of Milanese cuisine. Thanks to the dining room staff for their attentive service.

12/05/2026: In a world of sleek, corporate dining, this spot is a rare treasure. It’s where you go when you need to simply remember what a "home-cooked" meal feels like when you didn't have to do the dishes yourself. The food is great and the menu changes depending on the produce’s season. Run by a family which finds its roots from Puglia (souther Italy) makes their take on food to be honest, delicious and warm. Don’t skip on their Gnocco Frito as a starter :) Highly reccomended and a must try!!

10/02/2026: Discovered a new lunch spot! Friendly waitress and a cute, well-kept place. Full menu for €13, including a first course, second course, and side dish. Not only was the quantity good, but the quality was also excellent, and the mashed potatoes were real, not from a bag! The gorgonzola gnocchi were spectacular, and the veal cutlet was tender and had a delicious sauce. Last but not least, we also tried the tiramisu—a little too much coffee for my taste, but still very good! We'll definitely be back!
