27/08/2024: Food is nice but the people who work there they are scammers charge me €20 extra on my bill for nothing when I talk with them they give me a €10 very quick when I left and I checked again. I find out I still need another €10. Be careful when you pay your bill.

27/06/2024: My wife and I 'cashed in' the gift corresponding to an afternoon of cooking together under the supervision of chef Silvana who with patience and knowledge helped us prepare some light dishes which then become the basis for developing other cooking ideas. It was all as interesting as it was pleasant and the time passed too quickly... Precise and easy-going, chef Silvana manages an extremely clean and organized cooking laboratory. At the end of the course we had dinner with her with the dishes we cooked and toasted with prosecco. We know that when we reopen in October there will be many interesting courses to attend and we certainly will. My comfort food.... to be recommended

16/04/2024: Very pleasant evening. We were a small group of friends celebrating an event. Syl opened the place just for us and welcomed us with her friendliness and with a buffet of very carefully prepared and original delicacies, all to be savoured. The "top 5" is won by couscous with true oriental flavours, the tasty stuffed dumplings, rice tagliatelle with pumpkin seeds, turmeric gnocchi and fifth place is contested by meatballs, vegetable curry and courgettes aromatic

08/05/2024: Small and welcoming place. Very good sandwiches with a varied choice. Excellent chips. Only point of attention: servings are a little too small, after a burger you should feel very full

05/08/2024: We were there a month ago to try “real” Italian cuisine, but that changed immediately after we ordered. 2 people had pasta & 2 of us had a “special” plate, with rice, potatoes & a maximum of 200 grams of chicken fillet (18€). The rice was a handful at most & the potato was chopped into small pieces with a bit of cheese gratinated. The rice had no taste, dry and unappetizing, like the potato. The meat was unseasoned and really thin. After we complained, we were told that the chicken was expensive (you can get the same meat in the supermarket for a maximum of €2.00-3.00). The owner was able to offer us a “discount” of €2 even though we were eating there with local people. There was a lot of discussion in Italian, but the woman didn't let up because the chicken was supposedly very expensive. We slacked off, paid and left. The service, the food, the ambience, the owner & the location are a 0/10. I can't understand ANY of the good reviews & hope that this store will no longer exist in the near future!

22/06/2024: Nice place and very friendly staff. I ate, without fear of being contradicted, one (actually 2 because I had an encore) of the best sandwiches of my life: pork coppa, coleslaw salad and crispy onion. Definitely coming back!!!

10/06/2024: Edo the waiter who is there on Mondays is exceptional, Federico and Pasquale kind and professional. Excellent for dinners with friends.

23/07/2024: Exquisite dishes, super low cost, nice place!! A little gem along Via Zara, where you can have lunch and an aperitif!

13/08/2024: I have to try other items on the menu but the quality is really high. The ingredients they produce are excellent and above all, the cutlet is what you want when you ask for it Milanese style. If you had the chance, I would stop if I were you. I'll be back very soon

20/07/2024: I have been going to this place for 20 years, very intimate and romantic, friendly staff, excellent food and pizzas, and Massimo the owner is more than a friend. I recommend it to everyone for corporate or birthday dinners. The penne all'arrabbiata are excellent.

04/07/2024: Mi ritrovai casualmente a cenare in questo ristorante, appartenente accogliente ma una volta entrata mi resi conto della scortesia e della maleducazione che regna all’interno di questo “ristorante” se così lo si vuole chiamare. La proprietaria è davvero maleducata tanto da apostrofare i suoi clienti con frasi o parole offensive in seguito ad una critica o ad un appunto. NON LO CONSIGLIO A NESSUNO, PESSIMA ESPERIENZA.

01/08/2024: Fantastic dinner! Very fresh food and original menu. The managers are very kind and welcoming. We will definitely return, perhaps when the weather allows for more substantial and typical dishes from this area!

02/07/2024: Excellent location and visible, above all spacious entrance to give ease of transit to the waiter who unfortunately has a poor physical condition. However, I managed to eat excellently, the gorgonzola on the pizza had a mystical taste that was perfectly homogeneous with the rest of the dough. Waiters highly trained on the history of Cassano and the restaurant, but above all I was amazed by their knowledge of the menu and etiquette. In conclusion I would like to express this exceptional experience....Old river, a name, a guarantee.
