05/05/2025: The only flaw is that there are only 10 tables and at peak times you have to queue. After all, this happens because the quality/price ratio is excellent and Simona, the owner, has the ability to make you feel at home. It's worth it!!!!

Fair prices for the premium location and elegant atmosphere. Highly recommend!

19/04/2025: Unfortunately today was a total disappointment. Unpresentable and truly bad dishes. I gave it a high rating but I really have to change my mind. The piadina was shameful, thrown there like in the worst bars, everything else tasteless and not cared for in the slightest. This is not vegan cuisine! It's not really cooking. 15/06/2025: Complicato. Mai è stato così difficile scrivere una recensione. Si rischia di scivolare sul banale, per voler per forza essere speciali. E allora, vi scrivo che sono stata bene, che la pizza mi è molto piaciuta, che l’ambiente è semplice ma accogliente e che tutto è ben organizzato. Bravi !

15/06/2025: Sono stata molto bene in questo ristorante, informale, allegro, unico. Le pizze sono buonissime, impasto leggerissimo e ingredienti di vera qualità. L’ho digerita senza problemi. Il servizio è attento e scrupoloso. Bravi! Bravi tutti!

20/07/2025: Si trova in una strada vicino al mio b&b e non avevo voglia di cercare altro stanco del viaggio. Locale esternamente anonimo, internamente gradevole, servizio attento e simpatico. Cibo assolutamente da dimenticare, linguine allo scoglio con condimento surgelato, salsicce decenti, tiramisù no comment

02/09/2025: What a miserable experience. After browsing through countless menus, my husband and I decided to spend our anniversary dinner at Montesoprano. Though we had never been there before, the food selection sounded good so we were excited to give it a go. Sadly, the dinner was an absolute let down. Firstly, it was exceptionally difficult to get any attention from any serves, and even when we did, we had to ask for things such as water and ice several times before they were actually brought to us. As an appetizer, we shared the eggplant parmigiana which was nothing to rave about but still the best dish of the night. My husband got what was described as a hamburger as a main and I got two different salads, reitterating that I'd like the dressing to be served separately, so I can decide how much I want to add myself. When the mains arrived, we were in for quite a surprise as my husband did not receive a 'hamburger' but simply a burger a.k.a. just a beed patty with some sad looking leaves as a salad on the side. After talking to the staff for 5+ minutes and explaining that there is no way of knowing from the menu, that their idea of a hamburger is just a patty, they agreed to add two buns and some cheese to the patty to make it an actual hamburger. Both of my salads arrived drowned in oil and dressing, regardless of my simple request. Thay took one of them back and redid it, but I kept the other one. I could've overlooked this, but after I biy in to an actual rock in my salad, I was pretty much done with the food. At that point I was just happy I didn't break a tooth. We showed the staff the rock (photo attached) to which they gave a simple 'sorry' and asked if they could bring us some digestives as an apology. That was a rather sad apology, considering all tables received a digestive after their meal. I refused their 'kind' offer and decided to end the miserable experinece with a glass of wine. I ordered their house white (4€ per glass). Once we received the check however, my glass of wine had magically turned into a 9€ glass. After asking about it, they said that it wasn't the house wine that they brought me although that is what I ordered. After another few minutes of arguing they oh-so-kindly charged us the 4€ for the wine saying they'll take care of the rest. Call me crazy, but since it was their mistake, I would kind of expect that. All in all, the decor of the restaurant was nice but that's pretty much where the positives end. Will not be returing and wouldn't recommend snyone else to either. There are soooo many better restaurants with a much better price point and quality in Milan so just skip this one.

20/04/2025: Estaba lloviendo y necesitábamos un lugar para comer, esto parecía un lugar animado local y tenía el fútbol encendido y estaba ocupado. Qué pequeño gran lugar - la comida era buena , sabrosa y un gran precio , el personal era genial y casi fuimos de nuevo, ya que era uno de los caminos a la estación de tren, pero no necesitábamos comer de nuevo después del desayuno.

25/02/2025: C'è un momento nella vita di ogni milanese in cui l'anima implora una tregua da smoothie proteici con spirulina e ossessioni gourmet e chiede un hamburger fatto da dio. Il locale in questione risponde a questo grido silenzioso con la nonchalance di chi non ha mai sentito parlare di food influencer e social media manager. L'arredamento è un trionfo non ironico degli anni '70, completo di quella peculiare malinconia delle tabaccherie di provincia, dove il tempo si è fermato con la stessa decisione con cui un vecchio zio rifiuta di passare al telefono cellulare. Non c'è alcun tentativo di ammiccare alla nostalgia vintage; questo posto semplicemente è, esiste in uno stato di grazia atemporale, immune alle fluttuazioni delle mode gastronomiche e non. L'hamburger arriva al tavolo senza fanfare né presentazioni concettuali. Bun fragrante, carne con reazione di Maillard perfetta, bacon scrocchiarello, formaggio gustoso e profumato. Le patatine fritte meriterebbero un trattato filosofico a parte. In un'epoca in cui patate dolci e pastinache tentano di usurpare il trono della frittura, queste bastoncini dorati riaffermano il primato dell'originale con l'eloquenza silenziosa della perfezione: l'esterno croccante cede a un interno soffice con una progressione tattile che rappresenta l'arte friggitoria. Qui non c'è quinoa in agguato tra gli ingredienti. Non ci sono salse presentate in pipette da laboratorio. Non ci sono microgreens. Qui non ci si prende in giro. C'è solo il necessario, e il necessario per una volta è sufficiente. In un ecosistema gastronomico sempre più autoreferenziale, questo locale opera con la semplicità radicale di una proposizione matematica elementare: fame + cibo buono = soddisfazione. E in questa equazione Baldassarre trova la sua grandezza.

05/07/2025: Vengo tutte le mattine a fare colazione, nulla da ridire sul personale sempre con il sorriso, ma il problema serio è che su 7 giorni almeno 4 mattine mancano le brioches e tra le 7 e le 9 del mattino è assurdo.

29/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review, on a logistical level, which I contextualize. Yesterday evening with live music (which I gave 5/5 stars in the "ambience" category), but to stay there you had to eat from the special menu of the event and unfortunately this was anything but well organized. Many things written on the menu sheet were incorrect. For example, the price would have included an aperitif with chips and taralli: too bad that in reality it was 1 tiny portion per table (so in a table of 7 practically no one took advantage). So the remaining drink + chips + sandwich = 30 euros. A shot, if you consider that: -Ordering "a la carte" would have cost 10 euros less -Almost 1 hour and a half of waiting just to get a drink -The sandwiches had a bitter taste and a bad consistency (other foods were good instead) The same thing for the baby menu, for 20 euros. It said drink + chips + cutlet + chips. So double portion of chips? Obviously not. Well, maybe the price wasn't the problem but the lack of clarity on the menu towards customers. For the rest, the atmosphere of the evening was perhaps worth all the money.. but having received the first drop of water almost at 11 pm, after arriving at 9 pm, wasn't very positive.

27/08/2025: The food is good, but over the phone they told me I could pay with digital restaurant vouchers. When I got the bill, they told me they only accepted physical cards. Better be careful.

05/08/2025: An experience not to be repeated. The pizza ingredients were missing, and the drinks and beers we'd ordered weren't available, so we had to change our order. With two two-year-olds, there was only one high chair available. The service was questionable, and the price was way too high for what you get—you'll leave hungry. The place is also nice and clean, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

12/04/2025: Ho mangiato in questo ristorante molto carino, parmigiana di melanzane veramente deliziosa, costo bassissimo, personale molto gentile e pizze favolose. Materia prima di ottima qualità, finalmente un ristorante dove si mangia davvero bene

18/03/2025: The pizza has a thin dough and plenty of toppings. The price-performance ratio was very good. The pizza tasted delicious, but a few herbs would have made it even better.
