24/05/2025: Historic place in Nibionno specializing in hamburgers and beers. Wide selection of beers on tap, both craft and more commercial. Possibility to choose between pils, ipa, bock, stout, blanche, ... the real strong point are the sandwiches. Possibility to choose between beef, pork and chicken (once there was also lamb) and really interesting combinations, some daring but always well balanced and with excellent quality ingredients. A negative point is the outside veranda, the light is a little too soft and above all very noisy. The place wasn't even too crowded but it was hard to talk to the other people at the same table. Prices are a little high but fair considering the quality of the ingredients and the fact that the sandwiches are quite abundant. In any case I recommend going there at least once.

20/05/2025: A place with a simple but still welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers traditional dishes, well executed even if without any particular flair. Courteous service and normal waiting times. The only flaw is the acoustics: the echo of voices makes the environment rather noisy, especially if you find rowdy neighbors. Overall a good experience, ideal for those looking for classic cuisine without too many pretensions.

20/04/2025: Ate with family on Easter Sunday Compliments Excellent food. Generous servings and always available for an encore. The sciatt, the risotto and the rustic ravioli are truly top. The service was very attentive to never miss anything, even though the room was full. Family atmosphere, to make you say: "we will definitely be back". The only flaw is the parking Honest bill in relation to the quality/quantity of the food

31/05/2025: Located above Varenna, in a quiet area, the place is chic and magnificent (like the view). All the staff are friendly and helpful (the waiter brought little animal toys to keep our children entertained). Very good food, with lots of fish on the menu.

04/05/2025: The Crotto ai Castagneti Restaurant is an experience not to be missed! We really enjoyed the authentic home cooking and the beautiful mountain views. The lady who welcomed us was uniquely friendly, making us feel at home straight away. The food was delicious, as was the wine. We were there on a Saturday and found a fixed menu, which offered an excellent selection of traditional dishes. Highly recommended!

16/04/2025: Lovely place... in the summer you can also enjoy a beautiful view... the food is delicious... always ready to fulfill the possibility of a second... right and generous quantities... very good food and divinely cooked... very helpful and friendly... they also pampered our dog... and certainly when we are in the area it has become a fixed stop... and the possibility of purchasing their products too....

29/04/2025: My wife and I go to this restaurant quite often when we go to visit a friend of ours who lives in the area. We're going there for lunch. The restaurant is medium in size, with a beautiful outdoor terrace. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Coming to the kitchen, you can find a bit of everything, even if they present themselves as a hamburger restaurant. So the hamburger sandwiches are excellent, but upon request they will also prepare sandwiches of your choice, if they have the ingredients available, in addition to the sandwiches on the menu. The last time I had a tagliatelle with mushrooms which was really worth it, while my wife had a nice plate of gnocchi with four cheeses. The pizza is also good and there is a wide choice, but the dough is a little heavy to digest. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!!!

01/05/2025: We had dinner in this evening at this restaurant. We opted for the fixed fish menu at €22 (with cover included!!). We highly recommend it! Fresh fish, excellent pasta cooking and really tasty grilled fish! You have to go there 🫠
