31/03/2025: I recommend the Santa Lucia restaurant. Pizza served literally in a few minutes - delicious, on thin dough. In addition, the owner is very nice, Italian. We went again and chose pasta with seafood, which deserves special recognition, and pasta with mushrooms. The only downside is the lack of a garden.

21/03/2025: Rustic restaurant specializing in risottos and traditional Lombard dishes. Very good risottos (there was the opportunity to do a limited rice tour) with particular combinations but in any case balanced and successful. Very generous portions. Very friendly owner as well as the rest of the staff. Really good prices considering the quality and quantity. The only flaw is that finding parking is not exactly easy. Recommended place.

27/01/2025: The location is beautiful and the view is amazing. You get a lot of aperitif before your course. The menu is quite good and extensive. The staff is also very nice and friendly. The food is okey, it looks very beautiful and they know how to do make it, but it is not our taste. It is very expensive for what you get, you can get things local for way less and the same quality.

The service is exceptional, with a staff that is not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely kind and friendly. We enjoyed several dinners in August here, including a birthday celebration, and loved every single moment. A huge thank you to the amazing staff for making every experience so special—you truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varenna!

30/03/2025: Restaurant located near Lake Como. We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Castello dell'Innominato and the Scala della Penitenza. We ate very well, ordered a fillet with green pepper (pictured) and fried potatoes. Everything was delicious and the prices were fair. The staff were very kind and helpful, even with our dog. Great place to eat well and in peace.

17/03/2025: Light and tasty pear, walnut and brie pizza, digested without problems. Very good Sciat. Very good red beer on tap. Fast service, perhaps too fast but very kind. I highly recommend it if you are in Colico, a splendid location.

07/04/2025: It's a really nice place, very characteristic, clean and welcoming. We ate the single dish: pizzoccheri (very good) and polenta taragna with porcini mushrooms (excellent). Possibility of eating outside, but when we were there it was very windy and we ate inside. Next to the restaurant there is a cheese shop, produced by them and cured meats. I don't give 5 stars because the restaurant prices are a little high (the single dish in the photo € 14 and for two with water and coffee we spent € 35.8), but the quality is really excellent. We will definitely be back

06/04/2025: Ci hanno dato del cibo (scadente) come a degli animali in una MANGIATOIA, pronto in 3 minuti con il locale strapieno!!! . Polenta bruciata, pizzoccheri all’acqua, posate di plastica bianche (le peggiori), tovagliolo del bar. Peggio non si poteva trovare. Sicuramente d’ora in poi staremo alla larga da questo posto.

06/04/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante parecchie volte, diverse volte ho ordinato i pizzoccheri perchè molto buoni. Quest'ultima volta purtroppo erano immangiabili, poca pasta e molto molto formaggio, nauseante, la pasta non si vedeva affondata nel formaggio. Ottimo affogato al cioccolato.

27/03/2025: Stopped in for work on the recommendation of a local friend. Clean and well-kept location, 50m from the lake. Punctual, precise and discreet service, not excessive waiting, typical cuisine and business menu. I took Pizzoccheri, grilled vegetables, water (1 liter) and homemade amaretto semifreddo. Maybe the price is a little high (€30) but it's worth it. Advised.

19/03/2025: Pub, one of those that offers a bit of everything. The pizza is not bad, food is average. Maybe the access to the tables is a bit "narrow". Big screen to watch sports with friends.

10/03/2025: Restaurant with lake fish specialities. All cooked masterfully. The appetizer of salmon trout croutons was excellent, the misultins were exquisite, and the first courses were excellent. A recommended place to enjoy lake specialties. The location is also excellent, with a wonderful view of the lake

14/01/2025: When we enter by chance we ask if there is room with a dog, they prepare the table for us then a waitress arrives and puts a sheet of menu in front of us. I got up to ask if they had an à la carte menu and was told no. Work lunch only. The food was inedible to say the least, and I would also add not very friendly staff. Never again. This is not catering!!!!! Even at lunch if you keep it open you have to keep an à la carte menu. Reading the various positive reviews, I find it a little strange that such a huge difference in quality is definitely not productive.

29/03/2025: Very nice experience on the holiday route, we came across this lovely address by chance. The decor is magnificent both inside and out! We had lunch for €15!!! So, we came back for the return trip. Delighted and congratulations for the kindness of the staff!
