Ristorante Pizzeria Il Faro In Colico

Super fast and organized service. Very friendly. I had a pizza with quite a lot of untopped crust. It was very crispy and partly burnt. Otherwise, it was tasty. The dining room is rather functional.

Now this is a top tier Italian food experience. We had two Risotto, one pizza, one pork meat slice with Porcini sauce, one Tiramisu and a couple of drinks and it cost us €63,- which is super reasonable regarding the beautiful location and top food quality. The food was very good, served quick and the staff was super friendly and multilingual! We wanted to take the waitress with us, but gave her a tip instead because she had to close shop. (We obviously didn’t ask) :) 10/10 would eat here again.

Very good Italian food. Excellent service. Food is absolutely delicious!!! It can be busy and tables are getting usually taken very fast. If you wait don't be too worried it is absolutely worth it. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommended!

Good Food, But a Dangerous Lack of Safety and Accountability ​To be entirely fair, Ristorante Pizzeria Faro II delivers well in terms of value for money, generous portion sizes, and flavor. The food itself was actually quite tasty. However, a glaring safety hazard and the staff's shocking lack of care completely ruined the experience. ​While eating the seafood pasta, I discovered several small, sharp fragments of broken mussel shells hidden inside the dish. I immediately brought this to the staff's attention, explicitly emphasizing that swallowing or biting down on these sharp fragments could cause severe, irreversible health problems or dental injuries. ​Disappointingly, my serious warning was met with total indifference. Instead of taking accountability for a potentially dangerous kitchen oversight, the staff remained completely unbothered and dismissive. ​Great flavors and reasonable prices mean absolutely nothing if an establishment shows zero regard for customer safety. A restaurant that ignores genuine physical hazards cannot be recommended.

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. The appetizer arrived significantly later than the main course. The staff seemed rather unmotivated…

We weren't expecting anything from the first restaurant at the station, but lunch was great! Delicious! The risotto was perfect, the pizza was good, the beer was tasty. The staff was friendly. The play area was very comfortable for a child.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. We had sciatt, a Valtellinese risotto, and a seafood dish. The rice was very al dente, almost raw, but the seafood was delicious! A little pricey for drinks. The cooking of the dishes needs a bit of a rethink.

Nice, reasonably priced, and right at the start of the Colico lakeside promenade. The menu is always very touristy, but let's just say it was adequate, and the atmosphere is quaint. It's also very spacious, so it's easy to find a seat. Lunch, including a main course per person, plus water and coffee, was about €20-25, a little more than expected.
