04/06/2025: In viaggio da Cremona a Brescia, DeGustibus si perde nella campagna cremonese e alfine, quasi per caso, si imbatte nell’Hostaria. Sempre per caso entra, saluta, si accomoda ed esce certo che mangiar bene si può ! Quel che ho preso non importa, potete prendere quel che volete dall’ampio menù alla carta ( un neo il menù di affari), e uscirete più che soddisfatti. Non è dietro casa ma si fanno viaggi per cause molto peggiori. Quindi tutti all’Hostaria San Carlo ad assaggiare una delle migliori cucine italiane. Naturalmente ad una cifra modica…

02/06/2025: Tried pizza and scrocchiarella. Both excellent. Scrocchiarella just how I like it, it has to crunch until the end. We will return to try something else. For the environment, I gave it 3 stars simply because the place is large and when it is full it is very noisy. We completed everything with dessert, tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo, good. We will return.

20/08/2025: Good evening, unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience this evening. We ordered takeout pizzas, and, as can happen, they were burned. I called the restaurant, who promptly and kindly told me they'd remake them, so I went back to get the new pizzas. (In the parking lot, I thought, "What's the point of checking?") I got home and the pizzas were pale white on top and burned on the bottom, and the Margherita was burnt. I called the restaurant again, and without me asking, they invited me to come by and collect the money for the pizzas. When I returned to the restaurant, despite having shown them the photos and brought back my pizza, because in the meantime, even if it was burned, the child had to eat it. They told me they'd been making pizzas like this for years, and a lively debate ensued. I apologize for making things so personal; I don't judge other people's work, only what was served to me, and on two occasions!

13/07/2025: The location is simple but clean and tidy. The pizza is excellent, one of the very thin-crust varieties, but tasty and easy to digest. The packaged desserts are a bit disappointing, in that they're the usual ones, while the homemade ones are good. The service is efficient, and the staff is helpful and cheerful. We'll definitely be back!

08/07/2025: The venue is practically in the city center, though slightly away from the generally busier Crema area, and this is definitely a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect for an evening in Crema.

09/05/2025: The place is very nice, the staff very kind, the food very good but if you go for an aperitif BEWARE of the Negroni Lab which is literally toxic apart from the fact that you don't understand how you can call a cocktail without Campari (which is the main ingredient) Negroni but it's like taking a teaspoon of Vics adding gin and ice and drinking it, I gave up the second sip all for just €13, I even thought that the bartender got the doses wrong but I doubt I'll try it again to find out

05/08/2025: Nice outdoor location... The rest needs reconsidering... the fried gnocco was awful to say the least... the tortelli were good but cold, served on a flat plate... the prices weren't displayed, and the receipt wasn't specified either...

02/06/2025: Pur con un gruppetto di amici abbiamo mangiato bene e abbondante con buon vino e buoni prodotti se posso fare un appunto solo lo gnocco fritto lascia un po' a desiderare troppo "gnucco" e molto unto forse perchè abituata alla torta fritta piacentina o parmense si nota la grande differenza

12/06/2025: Location molto gradevole, a differenza dei piatti assaggiati. Salmone sul menu indicato come marinato in realtà molto affumicato. Paccheri esageratamente salati, io non sono riuscita a mangiarli. Non tornerò più.

06/07/2025: First time, refined place, excellent service, excellent cuisine, chef Yuri uses fresh products cooked with care, attention and successful experimentation. The menu has a choice of fish and meat, even elaborate but very tasty desserts. I could go on in a more detailed review but it encourages me to return so I can tell you that it is a place that I recommend trying, it does not disappoint. I have been back other times and I can confirm my 5 stars. I love the cuisine made with care and technique, the kind that you have to wait to have a good dish and here I have always found it. I recommend all the dishes even the menus of the Giro d'Italia to discover typical dishes from other regions, I find commitment and taste and not a small thing, the fact of being able to choose different dishes every month, so a customer cannot get bored of a static and usual menu for several years. I strongly recommend you try the restaurant if you want to eat well and without rushing, quality cuisine requires time of execution and not just quality of the product. See you next time chef! Good continuation

29/06/2025: We went to VR10 Restaurant Lab to celebrate my father's 50th birthday and, as always, it was a simply perfect experience. Warm welcome, very kind staff and always attentive to every detail. A special thanks to the chef, really super good: in addition to being friendly, he shows exceptional talent in the kitchen every time. Sincere compliments to all the staff, you always make us feel at home!

26/04/2025: Cibo molto buono ma ESTREMAMENTE caro !! Non si possono pagare 11€ per 8 piccoli cubetti di formaggio fritto e per una cotoletta , buona , 60€ al chilo !!!! Più di una fiorentina !!!!!

20/04/2025: ¡Increíble! El Cremasco Tortello estaba delicioso y la Milenase estaba fuera de este mundo. Porción enorme (1 kilo) , los precios eran muy razonables y nuestro camarero (Max) , era excelente. ¡No dejes de visitarnos cuando estés en Crema!

27/07/2025: Spacious and charming place, excellent pizza! Excellent quality ingredients. The fried fish is delicious. Perhaps when the atmosphere is a bit chaotic, the service, though attentive, goes a bit haywire; the pizzas aren't distributed properly. The prices are fair, but it's a shame about the cover charge: €3.00 is excessive for a paper placemat. Of course, I'm a customer, I'll always be a customer.

07/09/2025: We stopped to look at the reviews, and I'm sorry to have to correct what I read. We had a risotto with ossobuco and a risotto with braised beef... In both cases, the risotto was precooked and completely tasteless. The giardiniera, on the other hand, had a certain taste...of vinegar. A special mention goes to the waitress, who was attentive with her service.

03/09/2025: Slightly out of the city center, this well-kept restaurant offers quick service and very friendly staff. We arrived without a reservation. The cold cuts platter was exquisite. The pumpkin, mushroom, and ginger risotto was superb. The bread and focaccia are homemade. Good price. Recommended.
