Soncino
09/12/2025: Having seized the opportunity to visit Soncino Castle, we booked a table at this restaurant. The platter was excellent, and I finally got to try the Salva Cremasco, a historic cheese from this area. It was truly delicious. The risotto and pork cheek were excellent, the service was good, and the place was welcoming.

Welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, lunch in front of the fireplace, a superb selection of cheeses and a good selection of wines.
The first courses are simple but authentic and tasty.
A family-run restaurant where you can feel at home and are passionate about their work, with welcoming and knowledgeable staff.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a casual yet quality meal.

02/10/2025: An excellent trattoria serving traditional cuisine, the ideal place for informal group dinners. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant also has a large outdoor area with tables for the warmer months. If you're a large group, a private room is also available. Excellent, well-prepared food, with the option of sampling a variety of starters and/or main courses. For special occasions, you can arrange to bring your own cake. Parking is difficult in front of the restaurant, but there are convenient parking lots nearby.

The rest needs reconsidering... the fried gnocco was awful to say the least... the tortelli were good but cold, served on a flat plate... the prices weren't displayed, and the receipt wasn't specified either...

08/12/2025: The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. At the entrance to Crema (Ripalta), I stumbled upon this place for a business lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very friendly. I felt at ease. The food was good. Highly recommended for lunch, but also for a business dinner. The price for a full meal is €15.00. Otherwise, you can choose à la carte.
28/10/2025: I stopped by today for lunch with my son. We always like to try new dishes, and La Rosa Gialla really intrigued me. The atmosphere was warm and charming. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The service was excellent.
The dishes were really good; we both had fish dishes. The wine was excellent, as was the coffee.
My only comment: I think that in these times, every menu should always include at least one gluten-free first course and a vegan or vegetarian option. Just a small tip I'd like to offer to ensure we're always at the top of our game.
Otherwise... I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

10/05/2025: Really tasty and soft gnocchi with courgette cream and prawns that melt in your mouth. Never eaten such a tender and tasty scallop. The fruit tart is delicious. I ate on the porch and it was wonderful with the nice fresh air and the warm sun. The lady who served us was very kind.

11/10/2025: Excellent stop for lunch. The marubini, eggplant ravioli and risotto were all fantastic. The place was quiant, clean, quiet and comfortable. No reservation and the 3 of us were able to be seated immediately on a Saturday in late September, just after the market in the piazza outside the duomo was wrapping up. The staff was curtious, attentive, and prompt. The food was excellent. Will be back next time we are in Cremona!
30/09/2025: Very nice place just steps from the Duomo. Attentive and friendly service. We had a lovely meal, the risotto with culatello was excellent.

17/09/2025: Very well-kept, elegant location, very courteous and polite staff, they make you feel immediately at ease and are truly helpful! It's also lovely to see the chef stop by at the end of the evening to say hello, everything is very appreciated! The cuisine is simple, but also carefully prepared and refined! Everything is delicious! A special mention for the lamb chops, which were very tender and juicy! Wide selection of wines! Recommended!

01/12/2025: A great discovery. Last-minute reservation for a family dinner.
Torta fritta, what can I say! Better than the places frequented by Cremonese on the Piacenza side! Generous (we didn't finish it!), as were the excellent cured meats. The cooked shoulder was remarkable, with an excellent gorgo (a generous portion).
I dug into an excellent cotechino, beautifully presented. Not sticky, which would bother you after a while, but very flavorful. Mustard for all palates, although I prefer it spicier, which adds a touch of "sanàvra." My son's roast beef could be improved, but it also depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is lovely, like that of a Cremonese tavern. We'll be back.

Fresh food, well-cooked, without overdoing it with condiments and other unnecessary "gastronomical infrastructure."
Kindness and helpfulness are above average, and that alone would justify choosing this place.
