02/12/2025: Nov 25: We tried to go on a Sunday, February 2, 2025, while visiting Soncino, but no table was available. On our way back from Verona, we finally made a reservation in the morning.
The tables were antique-style, the restaurant was unobtrusive, but the welcome was excellent. During the week, there was a fixed menu, but "casoncelli" pasta was also available.
A generous portion of pasta with sausage and garlic/oil ragù, stewed rabbit, meatballs, and roast potatoes and cooked herbs as a side. Everything was good and reasonably priced. We'll be back, but we'll book ahead.
16/11/2025: A simple trattoria located in the countryside, 3 km from the center of Soncino.
Authentic home cooking with an appetizer of excellent cured meats, a choice of 4-5 first courses and 4-5 second courses, all excellent and tasty! Excellent value, try it and believe it... I recommend booking.

11/11/2025: Quick break, good tramezzino, wide selection, even panini. Good ingredients. Limited indoor space, just a few tables and stools... large outdoor area under the arcades.
Rough, serious service... we were there in a few minutes, mobbed by hungry students... thank goodness we were leaving... 😏
They don't have restrooms. 🧐

Both the burgers and fries are good, as are the platters; the cocktails (spritz) are not only colorful, but also well-prepared. The appetizers offered with the cocktails could be improved; perhaps it's better to focus on something more traditional, like fries, bruschetta, pieces of focaccia, etc. The service could be improved, as even with just a few tables, it's not always prompt. Furthermore, the food served with the aperitivo should be commensurate with the number of people.

12/10/2025: A local trattoria specializing in torta fritta (fried cake) served with cured meats, cheeses, and pickles.
The dough was very light and not at all heavy, and we also tried fried fish with polenta.
There's also the option, included in the price, to enjoy the torta fritta with Nutelline.
Excellent value for money.
