19/04/2026: Excellent lunch at this restaurant in the countryside on the edge of the nature reserve at Sorico, with beautiful mountain views all around.
All dishes were sensitively prepared, with refinement real attention to flavours. The standout of the day was a seafood linguine, which would have been very tasty even without no extra ingredient, given the intensity of the sauce/bisque, but with the prawns and the amberjack tartare and the citrusy aroma, it became sublime. A pistachio-stuffed calamaro, a whitefish (lavarello) , and a frittura of freshwater fish with vegetable tempura were also ravishing. Only the desert was not so stunning, but still good.
The interior is nicely appointed, with a warm and slightly retro atmosphere, the large windows affording a good view of the beautiful natural scenery. Service was so young and so kind. Prices offer truly significant value at this level of quality.
04/04/2026: At Beccaccino, I found a rice dish with perch that was almost "memorable" 😍🐟
Truly the kind that makes you think about moving to Lake Como just to eat it more often.
A small note about the raw fish: it was good, but it didn't make me say "wow" like the rest. Nothing tragic, eh? Let's just say the rice stole the show 😄
Top service, with a very kind waitress who deserves applause 👏
Overall, a super pleasant experience... and yes, I would go back (even if only for that rice 😉)
