20/01/2026: The Vittoria Gelateria Pasticceria bar in Como is an absolute hit! The tiramisu – one of the best we've ever had! 🤤 The arancini – perfectly crispy, full of flavor, simply amazing. And the service? Wonderful, smiling, helpful – it makes you want to come back! If you're in Como, you have to check it out, because this place makes your day!

17/02/2026: Absolute gem of a restaurant near the Sheraton Lake Como. The dad makes the food, the mom makes the desserts upstairs where they live, the uncle and daughter are the waiter and the waitress. The 2 dogs live upstairs but escape and show up in the restaurant if someone leaves the door open. Get the pizza, fritto misto, and tiramisu!

17/11/2025: A big heartfelt thank you to Adriano for helping us recover our beloved pink bear. He found it, arranged registered mail to send it back to us, and patiently answered all our questions during the 3-week wait. His kindness, care, and dedication truly touched us. We are deeply grateful for everything he has done. In addition, the owner, Andre always make us feel welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast and coffee are the best we have tasted in Como.

20/10/2025: The only good thing about this “hotel” is the location. Rooms outdated but okay for the price, however very cold. On the other hand please avoid this accommodation, the receptionist I assume owner named Silvia wrongfully accused us stealing from the breakfast (muesli bar)😅 then started an argument being quite aggressive and making no solid point which is totally unacceptable as we were paying guests. Only the gentleman at the reception tried to deescalate the situation which made us not to pursue furthermore the situation. This has made such a bad impact on our trip, she was hitting a tone that was derogatory , was pushing the lines of bullying and was far from professional behavior.

21/09/2025: Yes, the food is good overall; the pizza is the best in Imola. One of the waiters is particularly friendly; the only problem is that sometimes around 10 pm, everyone seems ready to leave, and it can feel awkward to ask for dessert (if you can find a waiter who cares).

20/11/2025: We recently discovered a corner of Sicily in Grandate. The croissants are good (other more renowned places use the frozen ones). The overall cleanliness is good. The summer veranda could be closed off so it can be used in the winter as well; there's not much seating inside. If you need breakfast, it's best to arrive early or you risk not finding a table. I have to point out that the service is sometimes a bit slow. Overall, the breakfast was decent.
