14/10/2025: Great food and service at affordable prices. Enjoyed the pizza and the burger a lot. The view is wonderful and this is one of few places around that is open throughout the day.

10/10/2025: We thought it might be a tourist trap cost wise due to the lakefront views but it really wasn’t significantly different than anywhere else. Barbara did a great job making drinks. The food was very tasty and decent portion sizes on the main courses filled us up after a long day of travel.

24/09/2025: The chef here offers a diverse menu – from italian classics with an original twist to refined seasonal dishes. The food comes in a classy presentation (deer/roe as secondi), sometimes with surprising yet tasteful combinations (uovo/taleggio 68⁰ as antipasto), most desserts are to die for (fig/ricotta tarte). Overall we were again truly delighted during our last visit in sept. '25. Quality (freshness of ingredients, preparation, originality) has reached new highs it seems. Our congratulations to the chef afterwards were sincere! (I also recommend : tartar of fassone meat, gnocchetti, ravioli, tiramisù). The service here is rapid, but not too, and always effective and friendly. View across the lake is sumptuous.

05/09/2025: A wonderful time in this magnificent restaurant. The staff is incredibly kind. The food is very good, and the scenery is breathtaking. It's worth noting that the prices are very reasonable and commensurate with the food served and the welcome. Thank you to the entire team. I highly recommend it!

18/08/2025: We had an aperitivo evening, took a coffee break, and ate gelato. Prices for aperitivo were average, perhaps more for appetizers, which would earn at least a star more for the service. Unfortunately, it's a bit slow, both in terms of serving and, paradoxically, also in terms of paying. The gelato is a real highlight, and I highly recommend it to everyone, even for its appearance. The service could be improved, but otherwise, it's a nice place for any time of day.

25/05/2025: Pizza tipo napoletana con abbina Enti di ingredienti non usuali. Pizza in padellino tipo al trancio, più alta e soffice molto particolare, buonissima la carbonara. Opportunamente hanno anche il vino della casa. Dolce speciale anche da vedere. Conto onesto, in linea con l'alta qualità. Locazione fin troppo elegante.

17/05/2025: Ho assaggiato la pizza al padellino. Esecuzione superlativa, leggera, croccante. Le proposte, che variano di tanto in tanto, erano interessanti ma forse un po' carenti. Quella sera ce ne erano di solo 4 gusti dove 3 (su 4) erano pizze bianche. Le ho provate tutte un po' passandoci i piatti e devo dire che la Cantabrica (l'unica rossa in effetti) era speciale! Buone anche quella con Tartare e quella con Lardo e Tartufo. Secondo me un po' squilibrata la Carbonara dove il salato del guanciale appoggiato sopra, e il resto, la rendevano un po' pesante. Prezzi medio/alti ma più che onesti per la tipologia di proposta offerta. Ci tornerò per provarle altri gusti!

30/10/2025: My recommendation in Domaso on the Alto Lario. Excellent value for money. Exceptionally professional service and a lovely atmosphere with carefully selected background music. The food from the concise menu is outstanding and attractively presented. I highly recommend this restaurant.

16/09/2025: We were here with our 7-month-old daughter. The ambiance and service were really excellent. The pizza is definitely recommended. The chef just needs to improve the pasta. The pasta with vongole tasted very bland. It lacked that certain something I expect from pasta in Italy. It was probably the lack of garlic. Instead, there was gold leaf on top, which of course didn't make it any better. Otherwise, a really nice place!

30/09/2025: Food: bland is the best review I can give. It was okay-ish. Absolutely not worth the price tag. Service: the service was adequate. Friendly enough. Big problem - I had told them it was our honeymoon and ask we be seated (IF POSSIBLE) by the window or the edge. They had said to get an earlier reservation and ask for it. Which I did. When we arrived, we were the first people there. They sat us in the very BACK. The furthest away from the view possible. They said they had reservations for the tables close to the view. That’s fine, if someone already got it - totally fine. BUT nobody came for those seats the entire time. There was actually only one other table there the whole time we were there. Huge let down on the service. For the price tag, I would have expected more attention to our accommodation. Really crappy to do. Right before we finished, an hour later, one couple showed up and took one of the 6 view-tables. I read the reviews but thought I would give them a chance - bad idea. Believe the reviews. There are so many better places for the money. Just go somewhere else.

29/09/2025: The atmosphere and views cannot be beat. Quiet and romantic with exceptional service and food.

12/10/2025: A small pastry shop along the lakeside promenade. It's a very intimate, historic place with an old-world yet familiar feel, directly overlooking the town square. The brioches are delicious.

26/09/2025: A gem on Lake Como, we had breakfast overlooking the lake, a perfect cappuccino, just the right temperature, just the right amount of cream, perfectly brewed coffee, and the same goes for the milk. The decor is antique but very tasteful, the place is clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. There's a magic in the air that's hard to match. I hope you stop by for breakfast or a snack! Congratulations!

06/06/2025: Great beer house, great beers on tap with, great food both dishes and sandwiches. Really worth it, highly recommended.

31/05/2025: A very nice proposal: a quiet place, in a place where everything makes you think about vacation, the interior is well designed to be cozy and pubby at the same time, there is way to many option of beers to choose from, and the staff is always welcoming. I personally suggest you trying the ipa which is locally brewed and that provides that bittersweet taste that bring you to haven. Bonus tip: the burgers are really juicy.

22/10/2025: Nice dining experience! This spot near the lake has a wonderful, authentic atmosphere and the staff were incredibly kind. The food was delicious and the prices were very attractive. Highly recommend for a true taste of local Como!

18/10/2025: Nice restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Como. The Caesar salad was excellent! However, the seafood spaghetti was disappointing: the mussels had a bad smell... Fortunately, the very friendly waiters offered us dessert as an apology. A little side note: ChatGPT recommended this place to us, and we had to turn away several touts on the dock before getting there! A pleasant setting despite this slight disappointment.
