22/03/2025: Lunch for work a value for money of the offisso at 14 EUR with a choice between 2 first courses 2 second courses coffee water. As a first course I ate a risotto with red wine and mushrooms good second course tripe with beans good.. Good service, fast convenient parking with parking on the street or inside .... the restaurant is located on a state road convenient as a position .... Good value for money if you are nearby ......................................................

13/04/2025: Friendly service. The pizza was good, but the dough was heavy on the stomach and overall a bit too dry in my opinion. The prices are good, around 8 euros per pizza.

18/10/2024: We had booked 3 double rooms for 4 nights in the off-season (where there are already many other hotels). The hotel is very clean, the owners are very friendly, helpful and - since our Italian is not very good - they also helped us with the reservations for restaurants. The breakfast offers everything you need and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The hotel is located directly on a busy street, which means that you should keep the windows closed at night and very early in the morning because of the street noise, but since the rooms have air conditioning units, this is not a problem even at higher temperatures. Even though there were only a few guests left in mid-October, the bar was still open in the evenings and the breakfast was varied with fresh and delicious sweet pastries (probably some homemade). We felt completely comfortable the entire time and thank you for the perfect stay.

13/10/2024: We had a wonderful stay in the Adler hotel recently and would highly recommend it. We booked last minute (on the arrival day!) and stayed for 2 nights, changing rooms after the first night. The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable, and match the pricing. We are dinner there on both nights and would highly recommend it. The food was all home-made and tasty and creative. The owner-chef is really excellent. It seems to be a family-run hotel with all family members pitching in at various points. They really seem to care about their guests and the service is excellent! Given the location (up a hill outside of Mennagio) you definitely need a car to access the hotel. It's a good base however for discovering the towns along the lake and a short boat ride to Bellagio.

14/01/2025: I go there every now and then with friends and I always have a great time. The food is excellent and very simple, you eat it very willingly because it is made as it used to be without too many unnecessary enrichments. It seems to me like the lunch my grandmother used to make, very simple but with excellent taste and very tasty. The lady is very direct in her answers and the first few times you have to be careful how you speak but after you get to know her you appreciate her frankness. There is no parking but there is a square with many parking spaces nearby. The place is not elegant but simple as a restaurant should be. Prices are very competitive.

23/03/2025: Very nice place in a great location, we only used the bar, but everything was perfect, friendly staff, high quality, fair prices. While waiting to try the food, I definitely recommend it as a bar.

20/11/2024: The only bar in the village of Croce near Menaggio....it has a lovely veranda perfect for enjoying their homemade ice-cream, coffee etc. The owers are a local family and are very welcoming.The bar is on the way to the "Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club" which in the past was used by George Clooney. WIFI is available.

16/03/2025: We went on two occasions: an aperitif and a lunch and then to use the spa. The location is excellent as are the attentive and welcoming staff. Excellent food and wine. The spotless spa is very well equipped. We will return

03/03/2025: We had an excellent stay—the setting is beautiful, the restaurant’s cuisine is outstanding, the welcome was wonderful, and the spa massage session was extremely relaxing. In short, a fantastic destination that you shouldn’t hesitate to visit!

28/09/2024: So of course it's just my opinion, but I've rarely eaten so "badly". A lot. We only had a bad day for the pizza maker and the cook, but I can't understand some of the recessions here. Pizza was wafer-thin and sometimes couldn't be cut with a knife - the salami had a strange taste on top of that. My wife's pasta was also partly cold and soaked in sauce... the decoration on the plate doesn't help either. Service friendly - ambience nice, but the food is not edible, as harsh as it sounds - I like the Dr. Oetker pizza at home is even better... What a shame.

22/02/2025: A family tradition that continues with this establishment called Bar in a restrictive way: cafeteria, aperitifs, hot and cold dishes await us for a comforting stop inside or in the shade of the awnings or under the pergola outside.

21/02/2025: Whenever we are in the area we stop for breakfast or even for a simple coffee. Nice, minimalist place, tastefully furnished, very small inside space but with a decent amount of outside space that can be used mostly in the non-cold season. A few smiles from the staff would spoil the experience, but this is just my opinion.
