12/01/2026: Avoid it if you can! I ordered a burger and fries with a Coke and a water and spent €24! Other than the main course, nothing special, but they beat me on a can of Coke for €5. The fries were supposed to be included with the burger (€8), but they beat them separately (€7). Cover charge €1.50. This isn't Forte dei Marmi! I think this place is just trying to rip off tourists without offering any quality food.

11/01/2026: If you give one star to everything, there must be a reason. A €600 Don Perignon in plain sight, and three seafood linguine with literally frozen fish sauce. Fried potatoes as an appetizer soaked in oil... and I'll leave it at that. Italian restaurants speak another language. And taking advantage of customers in tourist destinations has become the norm.

07/01/2026: I'm giving it 1 star because it's the only thing left. Absolutely not recommended. We entered because the bouncer at the entrance convinced us, and we didn't think to look at the reviews first: a huge mistake. Even though it was freezing (early January), he sat us on an OPEN veranda, far from the stove. We waited ages before a waiter arrived, and at that point we asked if we could have a table inside because it was too cold. At that point, they moved us inside because, yes, there were seats inside, but they hadn't asked our preference because they probably wanted to fill the veranda to show as many people as possible eating there. Furthermore, while they were moving us, a waiter asked the bouncer why they hadn't closed the veranda, given that it was cold and we weren't even the first to ask for a change. We went in and were seated at a small table where the placemats were all dirty (grease marks and food crusts). The plastic tablecloths at all the other tables were peeling, and the wallpaper was peeling in various places. Furthermore, the table next to ours had a chair with a broken leg. We were hoping to console ourselves with the food: we ordered two cheese risottos, but the portions were very small (half a portion each), and it arrived very cold. Not only were our dishes cold: several other customers in the dining room sent their dishes back (both first and second courses). I've never seen anything like it. The price was extremely high: €52 for two risottos and two Cokes. I also strongly suspect that fake 5-star reviews are being added to offset all the 1-star ones. Please stay away.

31/12/2025: Matia's in Sirmione is always a great place for iced coffee and aperitifs. Small but very charming with a beautiful view of the castle. The staff is very friendly and polite. 19/10/2025: The place is nice, but you can't clean a disposable tablecloth with the sponge you use to wipe down the chairs. Let's not even talk about the carbonara with béchamel sauce!! The meat skewer tasted like soap! The mixed fried fish was soggy, and the shrimp were full of eggs! There's a single bathroom for men and women, and it's dirty, too, so it's unbearable! Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: Portions far too small, for far too much money. The burger meat and fries are frozen and poorly prepared. The pasta portion can hardly be called a portion. Very disappointing and a tourist trap. Not to mention the €4 can of Coke.

26/10/2025: They seem to be organized to charge you the price of the "maxi" cones, which cost double the price of the "mini" cones (for two flavors, €10 instead of €5). The price sign is misleading (all the prices for the "mini" cones are listed at the top, where the "mini" wording isn't noticeable unless you look carefully, and only at the bottom are the much higher prices for the "maxi" cones). The staff lets you choose from the cones displayed on the counter (covered in chocolate, caramel, etc., or not), without telling you that they are all "maxi" and that there are also "mini" cones that aren't displayed on the counter, but rather hidden in the background. You only notice this when it's too late (in my case, the ice cream was already made, and more importantly, I had already handed over a €20 note and, to my surprise, received only €10 in change). Reading the other reviews, it seems like a well-thought-out, systematic approach. I wonder how long they've been doing this shameful thing for! It deserves a lawsuit!

29/12/2025: What I am saying here it has been said to the staff at the shop. They try to overcharge you because the price are not clear. I have bought 2 cups with 2 scoops each + a simple waffle cone with 2 scoops + a cup with one scoop and I paid €35 instead of €30 and the excuse from the staff was that the cup with the 2 scoops cost €10 instead of €8 as the sign says. But they are layers in fact a single scoop cup in the end cost me less than a single cone. My suggestion is DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. if you wanna an ice cream and you are buying more than one ice cream pay each single ice cream

26/10/2025: Far too expensive and there were no prices at the ice cream parlor. I went there and wanted a scoop of ice cream and suddenly the woman said to me 10?! Tourist trap and rip-off. Don't go there, people, it's not worth it.
