21/02/2026: Old-fashioned trattoria, the food is good, the staff is kind and hospitable, but you are guaranteed to leave full.

08/02/2026: Tagliatelle with hare stew. The stew was very good, but unfortunately the tagliatelle were very wide and short instead of long and narrow. They hadn't even been stirred during cooking because some were folded and stuck together. The grilled lamb was buino and the nougat parfait was delicious.

18/02/2026: Very nice location with a heated internal courtyard. Very good food with generous portions. On Sundays they prepare Brescian skewers...a must try...Try the chocolate with rum, it's amazing. Very friendly and fast staff. They have several options.

28/12/2025: Today's experience. We're in Castrezzato to visit a music store and decide to have lunch nearby. Google suggests the closest restaurants, and we choose the only one open. Without a reservation, we're seated, and the hostess offers us the specials of the day, a slew of first and second courses. Tagliatette with wild boar ragù, pennette with scamorza and speck, and casoncelli bresciani. Very courteous, attentive, and quick service. The food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous. Recommendation

26/02/2026: The pizza is spectacular, the staff is very professional, and after dinner, we even danced on the tables. Kudos to Simone for his voice and entertainment. He's great, and to Riki on the decks. Super DJ.

26/01/2026: On Friday we had a night out with friends, pizza, and DJ music from 10 pm onwards. The clientele was mostly adults... Nice people, great music... The food was good and the fun was guaranteed... Definitely worth a visit again.

The cuisine is one of its strengths: carefully prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious dishes, perfect after a day on the slopes. The staff is impeccable: welcoming, smiling, and always attentive to guests' needs. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. La Baracca is truly a unique place, with splendid windows offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Eating here, surrounded by such a panorama, makes the experience even more special. 03/10/2025: Nice pub, German beers plus a few additional options, mostly bottled. The latest change in management has changed it a bit, especially by removing the homemade desserts and focaccia from the menu and adding fried foods, typical frozen products you find everywhere these days. I'm so disappointed I don't know if I'll ever return. If I do, I'll consider updating my review.

02/03/2026: The rustic and refined atmosphere is attentive and friendly. The wine cellar offers a wide selection of bottles, but the wine selection is limited. We had a small issue with the starters, and the overall meal lasted a bit too long, considering it was a graduation party, so service slowed down considerably. Overall, the other courses were excellent, and the wine selection was excellent.

30/09/2025: One word: Wow! Food: We had dinnere at Sostago and were blown away. The menu has classic italian food bit also with some twists to make it interesting and every dish worked out perfectly. Even the frothy butter that goes with the bread was a highlight. Price wise it was also very respectable. It was among the top dinner I had so far. Location: It begins with the entry to the Villa Sostago. It is a one way street that follows a narrow road through the mountain side with great views on the lake. At the end the old Soatago villa comes into place. We felt straight out from a James Bond movie. Crazy. Inside it follows the theme. The Atmosphere is very welcome and the dining area is super cozy with great views. Great knowladgeable staff. The whole evening was a success!!
