09/08/2024: I was a guest of the Golden Eagle for just one night, personally I found in this place what I wanted most: the beauty of the lake and the tranquility to free the mind. First of all, all the staff are kind, thoughtful and attentive to the guest's needs. The hotel has 20 rooms so everything is on a human scale. I chose the lake view solution and it was a wonderful treat. Comfortable bed and two types of pillow. (At the moment there is carpet but some rooms have been modernised). The swimming pool is very well looked after with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas where I spent pleasant moments. The highlight of the hotel is certainly the terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with the Sirmione skyline in front. In the evening everything becomes a nativity scene with the lights that line the view of the lake. The cuisine was excellent for both lunch and dinner... they told me that the chef is from Puglia and yes!! Really good! For breakfast you can choose anything!!! Eggs cooked in all ways, sweet and savory for all tastes: cooked fruit and vegetables, fresh yoghurt or frozen yoghurt, multi-grain bread to be sliced ​​fresh or bread to toast, organic juices, organic jams but also pistachio creams, chocolate and custard! Cakes, tarts and pancakes, in short, isn't breakfast the main meal? Finally, I appreciated the interiors of the hotel, everything recalls Klimt, his colours, the golden age and his kiss. Finally, the hotel has a large free car park which is not a small thing, and a lockable bike area. I will definitely be back!

14/08/2024: Beautiful setting along the stream, a well-kept green space with games for children not far away, but which you can leave free to wander around enjoying a coffee or an aperitif.

15/07/2024: Very beautiful and characteristic place, even from the garden view rooms you can still enjoy the magnificent view of the lake. Clean and particular room with small balcony overlooking the lake, shame that all the balconies are separated only by a railing so little privacy but you can pass over them easily. Very courteous and helpful staff. Average food, maybe dinner a little expensive in proportion to the dishes served but it's worth it just for the view offered by the terrace where meals are served (breakfast and dinner). Very enjoyable outdoor swimming pool especially towards the evening when the temperature starts to drop, you can also have cocktails etc. by the pool, shame only about the closing time at 7.30pm (even just extending the opening by half an hour would be enough in my opinion). Indoor swimming pool too cold in my opinion but really beautiful. Overall fully satisfied considering that the hotel is located in an absolutely silent position but still very close to tourist places such as Salò, Gardone Riviera and the Vittoriale

02/08/2024: Piacevole scoperta dove l'accoglienza e il clima quasi casalingo fanno rilassare. In vacanza al Lago di Garda, provenienza dal Friuli, eppure mi è sembrato di essere di nuovo a casa: il cibo è ottimo sotto ogni punto di vista, nessuna remora, e il prezzo, in confronto a tutti gli altri locali, è da competizione. Consigliatissimo!!!!!

03/05/2024: Trattoria semplice e accogliente. Personale molto gentile e veloce. Abbiamo preso come antipasto il mix di tre polente (porzioni abbondanti), un primo con sugo di cinghiale in salmì buonissimo e di secondo lo spiedo. Forse abbiamo un po’ esagerato, visto che lo spiedo viene servito con patate e polenta ci sarebbe bastato quello per saziarci, ma era tutto ottimo. Consigliato. Prezzo buono.

07/07/2024: Cibo buono ma davo fastidio alla padrona del locale che ci ha tenuto a specificare che non avevano abbastanza scorte per noi. Siamo arrivati e non ci è stato dato un menu e la padrona era visibilmente scocciata. Piatti della tradizione bresciana buoni ma c'è da rivedere il servizio

15/06/2024: Anche oggi pranzo al Gin Gin! Sempre ottimo e sempre pieno !Menù a 15€ con primo secondo contorno acqua vino e caffè! Luca e il suo staff ogni giorno numero 1! oggi coniglio e polenta buonissimo e per primo linguine con gamberi zucchine e dragoncello buonissime! Bravissimi !

20/05/2024: Ottima selezione di piatti anche sfiziosi per un pranzo a prezzo fisso. Cibo ottimo, servizio veloce, gentilezza e cortesia. Un po' fuori mano, forse, se si viene da Desenzano centro, ma dopo un pranzo tanto abbondante, una bella passeggiata sul lungo lago fa solo bene e aiuta a digerire!

29/08/2024: We chose this restaurant while taking a walk around Brescia. To say we were disappointed, wouldn't be enough. We ordered stuffed toast with cheese, ham and mushrooms, and a pizza with ham, mushrooms and artichokes. After taking a bite of the toast, I already sensed something was off. Thought it was the ham, so I opened the toast to remove it, only to be grossed out by the sight of green mushrooms in it. What I expected of mushrooms in the toast at a restaurant would be champignons, but these I have no idea what were. I left the toast, so I don't know if the ham or mushrooms were off, or worst case both. My partner got the pizza which he finished, leaving some of the mushrooms we found in it (thinking at that time it might be these that were from a can or a jar, maybe with some vinegar or something of this sort due to the taste of the food, every culture has of course different flavors and tastes). It's been now two days with FOOD POISONING, as he hasn't had anything else after that pizza. I would avoid that restaurant if you want good food, as this from our experience doesn't look fresh at all and just ruined our stay. The staff was not very friendly either.

22/07/2024: Found on Google Maps to eat an improvised pizza. The place was very nice and modern, with background music that didn't disturb, the right air conditioning which was pleasant (we could have entered with the dog otherwise we would have still been on the external veranda surrounded by greenery and that too was very nice). We took a two-flavored shovel and it was good and very digestible (which was never obvious). If I can give some advice to the managers, the sign identifying the pizzeria with its name is missing because with the large portico surrounded by greenery it was not clear whether it was a restaurant or something else, whether it was on its own or part of the bar next door and whether it was open (luckily with Google Maps we identified it). Prices slightly higher than other pizzerias but the dough is worth it.
