31/12/2025: Local restaurant with traditional dishes. The food was quite good. Unfortunately, the pasta dish had poor proportions: too much pasta and not enough sauce. One of the desserts (a piece of cake) was quite dried out, and the second dessert was half-frozen (no ice cream, just a lot of frozen cream instead of meringue), which unfortunately detracted from the overall impression. The service, however, was very friendly. Unfortunately, there's no elevator and many stairs.

04/01/2026: A very nice restaurant, very friendly staff, and excellent food! We had, among other things, shellfish, lasagna, salami pizza, tagliata di manzo, spaghetti vongole, and grilled sea bass. There was also a wide selection of delicious desserts. House wine cost only €5 for half a liter, and overall the food was very good value for money.

18/11/2025: I felt right at home! The owner is very kind; she'll welcome you and make you feel truly at home. The food is delicious, but it's a shame I was working during business hours and couldn't try the wine, which they have a large selection of. The desserts were really good, so much so that I even complimented the owner. The dessert was also really good. Fairly priced. Recommended 🩷

30/03/2026: Katja's Treasure Chest was a pleasant discovery: just 5 minutes from the Brescia Ovest highway toll booth and the Elnos shopping center. It offers very tasty and completely gluten-free cuisine. The main course I ordered (GLUV): Thai rice, chickpea hummus, panzanella, eggplant meatballs, vegetables in saor with excellent focaccia. **EDIT** I'm amending my previous review because, while the main course remains very good, paying €7.50 for a stale zeppola makes me reevaluate this place. What a shame.

22/03/2026: Lo Scrigno di Katia was recommended to us by a colleague of my wife's, knowing that my daughter and I are celiac, so we decided to try it out, and it was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant, small but beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and the very kind and friendly staff made it a wonderful evening with a delicious, completely gluten-free dinner. We tried the casoncelli in two options (pumpkin, amaretti and bacon, and artichoke and ricotta), which were very good; then for our second course, we shared a Margherita pizza, also very tasty, and finished with a selection of desserts, cheesecake, mignon, and cannoncini, offered by them because it was our first visit. We also had water and a few glasses of San Giovese to drink. Everything far, far exceeded our expectations. Many compliments to the entire staff at Scrigno di Katia, who know how to give celiacs moments of happiness. Before heading home, we even had a small tray of mini treats prepared for our daughter to try, and they were a huge hit. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone with celiac disease who happens to be near Brescia.

15/03/2026: We were on vacation and found ourselves here by chance or luck. The pizza was delicious, it's been a while since I've eaten this kind of pizza. I ordered a parmesan and my husband ordered a pound pizza. The prosciutto was exceptional. The tiramisu was also excellent. It's a shame we're so far away, otherwise I would have come here often.

08/03/2026: We went for lunch today. It was packed, and we waited about 15 minutes for a table. Once seated, which was around 1:40 PM, we ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived at around 2:10 PM, and the pizzas at 2:27 PM! It was an eternity (in fact, everyone was complaining!). I must say, however, that at least all the waiters were friendly, and the pizza was really good. The organization definitely needs improvement. Prices are quite high, but average for a lakeside location frequented by many tourists.

17/03/2026: A very nice place, with a pleasant and refined atmosphere that makes for a truly enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the expectations: good, but not as memorable as the ambiance suggested. Overall, it's still a pleasant place to stop.

09/03/2026: One of the best restaurants in Brescia. Great selection of wines, amazing food and the service always on top. Try the tartare. My obligatory stop for when I come back home.

29/03/2026: "It's a shame, really. 😔 I've always had a good experience here, but this time I was disappointed. A non-gourmet pizza at 20 euros seems excessive to me, but what hurt me the most was the 'game' of prices. On the menu there was a pizza with burrata and prosciutto for 16 euros, I asked to remove the prosciutto and add zucchini... and voilà, the price went up to 20 euros! (It became a Margherita + burrata + zucchini) It really doesn't seem right to me, especially for such a simple change. I was hoping for better."
