An evening with friends, with a Florentine steak menu that I would consider exceptional, both for its quality and its cooking. The appetizer was very good and plentiful, with exquisite local cured meats and side dishes in oil and vinegar. Then came the meats, Florentine steak and heifer. Both were fantastic. Dessert, coffee, and liqueurs. Very kind staff... What can I say... Highly recommended

A traditional family-run trattoria with a wealth of history and experience. The menu is simple, yet refined and anything but ordinary. All the dishes were excellent: from the porcini mushroom and bagoss risotto to the homemade pumpkin ravioli, the sliced ​​horsemeat steak, and the dessert, all homemade. Very friendly service and hospitality from the owners who know how to make you feel at home. It's not located in a busy area, but it's worth the short detour to enjoy their dishes. Reservations are recommended (I'd even say mandatory).

14/04/2026: I was passing through Montichiari and stopped for lunch at Trattoria dai Picchi. It's a long-established restaurant. The food is delicious, and the ingredients seem high-quality. The staff was very friendly, and I really appreciated the authentic atmosphere, just how I like it. If I have the opportunity again, I'll definitely return.

28/03/2026: We had lunch there.Great place with wonderful views of the Lake . Outside terrace is beautiful. Good good and they give vegetarian options , though not mentioned in menu. Have great experience 👍
