The dishes were all delicious, simple and carefully prepared; you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. The service was very friendly and excellent value. We'll definitely be back soon. 03/10/2025: In the cheerful heart of a hidden village, the gently lit tavern opens, where the aroma of risotto of smoked speck and fine blueberries wafts. A feast is laid out on the table: ancient cured meats, delicate cheeses, local wines by the glass, that taste of sun and fertile hills. The innkeeper smiles, with a sincere voice, brings warmth more than a hearth, makes the table the truest banner. And those who approach, tired from lunch, find refreshment, joy, and spring: here bread and friendship never cease to love.

02/10/2025: Maybe we got the wrong one. The food was creative, but very salty, difficult to eat. The place has a great atmosphere, a beautiful location in a very pleasant town. Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome; maybe the owner was having a bad day. It was a disappointing experience for us; after reading the reviews, we expected something different.

12/01/2026: Unforgettable experience. We stayed at this wonderful property and it was all magical. The room was spacious and modern, yet some original details (doors, beams, and exposed brick) were retained. The location with a panoramic view left us speechless. My 3-year-old daughter had a blast with the animals and in the outdoor play area. The restaurant serves fresh, local products. The cuisine was also excellent. Impeccable service. Kindness and attentiveness are the right words to describe the entire staff. A special compliment to the owner, who conveys his passion for his entire property. I'll conclude by saying that the prices are also reasonable. We can't wait to return!

22/04/2026: Three months ago we ate a FABULOUS seafood pizza. Monday, April 20, 2026 We reordered the seafood pizza. Nothing...a DISAPPOINTMENT. A sprinkling of thawed fish. Probably a previous leftover. Two dried mussels soaked in water. They tasted like NOTHING. I'm going directly to the manager of La Bussola: when you don't have fresh ingredients, avoid serving seafood pizza. We would have ordered another pizza. Eleven euros per person for a pizza. For a handful of freezer-aged fish and two dried mussels, THAT'S TOO MUCH. I don't think we'll be back.

21/01/2026: The food is good, except for one overcooked steak, and overall, there's nothing to complain about. The desserts and pizzoccheri are delicious! As for the service, we asked a couple of times about the drinks we ordered, there were three of us. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, it feels a bit like the pomp of the past. The place is very large and poorly heated.

16/04/2026: Beautiful hotel in the center of the historical town, quiet rooms, the hotel used to be a monastery. The hotel has big interlnal parking. We had a very pleasant stay!

13/03/2026: We stayed in room 268, which faces the street. We travel a lot, and this was the WORST room we've ever stayed in. Soundproofing is nonexistent! There was noise all night long, both from the street (people talking, cars, and motorcycles) and from the hotel hallway itself, where other guests are passing by. You can hear everything. You don't sleep a wink all night! It was awful! The furniture (chair, table, wardrobe) in the room is basic, unsuitable for a hotel; the bed is a hard board (although it is huge), and the shower is excessively small, impossible for a tall person to use. I imagine the rooms facing that street have the same noise problem, so if you can avoid it, don't choose those rooms; choose ones facing the interior garden. I read reviews from other guests of this same hotel, and it seems like we stayed in different hotels, which makes me even more outraged that they gave us that room. Avoid room 268. I will definitely NEVER return to this hotel.
