19/10/2025: We celebrated a friend's birthday. The welcome and service were excellent, with helpful and courteous staff. The dishes were of excellent quality, and the wine was excellent. Given the length of the party, we stayed overnight for this event. The room was cozy, clean, and fragrant. Recommended for events and the restaurant. Fernando and Monica.

19/10/2025: We're giving it one star overall because, aside from the inviting and historic location, the welcome was zero and the service was unpleasant. Today, the new waitress was being trained, and she was guided and corrected at tables that were acting as guinea pigs. We want to clarify that the new waitress had nothing to do with this judgment; the problem is the management, which can't test the service without filtering, constantly invading the privacy of paying guests with unfriendly tones and annoyed looks. It's not something you do. Being born learned has nothing to do with the paying customer's right to eat and be served without being subjected to the obvious stress of being a new member of staff. Furthermore, it's Saturday for everyone, and after a week of work, if you decide to spend at least €40 per person for lunch with a shared appetizer and a first course each, it means it has to live up to its presentation. However, the quality of the food and the price aren't adequate either. A mixed appetizer cost €27: hummus was more like a chickpea puree, not hummus; the fried mozzarella balls tasted like frozen food; the polenta sticks were overly salty; the salami was average; and the prosciutto was good. The first courses are reasonably priced for a downtown osteria. However, today we were unlucky because the casoncelli were stuck together in a single block with melted parmesan and a lake of butter; perhaps even proper cooking doesn't achieve this result at home. My companion's pumpkin ravioli were submerged in a walnut sauce that was too salty and flavorful, completely covering the pumpkin flavor. The bread wasn't fresh, and there were a lot of crackers in the poorly-kept basket. Aside from being hungry, given the menu prices, we hope they improve the quality and service. So, absolutely NO value for money. We won't be returning. If you're visiting downtown Brescia, we wouldn't recommend this place. It's a shame we don't have photos to post; perhaps it would be clearer that our review is necessary to raise consumer awareness. Thank you.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance...everything was excellent. A small but very welcoming osteria. Following the owner's advice, we ordered four delicious first courses: exquisite pappardelle with hare ragù, superb casoncelli alla bresciana, tagliatelle with tomato sauce, which my little one devoured, and finally the dish of the day...a delicious pasta and beans. For the main course, the polenta with melted cheese was indescribable, and another typical local stuffed dish was excellent. The tiramisu was also impressive. If I were to return to Brescia, I'd definitely return. Highly recommended.

10/09/2025: I was at this restaurant for lunch today and unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I'll start by saying that I have nothing to say about the food: it was all good. What really disappointed me, however, was the service from the two waiters (a man and a woman). When I arrived, neither of them greeted me, and throughout the meal, their attitude was cold and very unwelcoming. They didn't bring me bread; I had to ask for the condiments for my vegetables (which all the other tables already had), and when I asked about the side dish buffet, the waiter simply pointed without explaining anything. Furthermore, at the end of the meal, no one bothered to ask if I wanted a coffee. Of course, when I left the room to go to the cashier, the waitress looked at me and didn't say hello. I understand that for me, being just passing through, this has little impact, but I think those who work in contact with the public should at least show politeness and helpfulness. If this isn't the case, perhaps it's better to choose another profession. I'm attaching a photo of the receipt to prove my attendance. 👉 This restaurant is not recommended.

15/08/2025: We've been customers here dozens of times, enjoying their takeout pizza, and we decided to celebrate our daughter's birthday there with her friends. Nothing to complain about: the pizza was delicious, the service was perfect and attentive, and the place was welcoming, with several air-conditioned rooms and outdoor spaces. The food was good, but above all, of high quality. Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went for the first time on Friday evening and had a great time! The restaurant is very well-kept, with the option of sitting outside on a lovely veranda. The service is truly excellent, with great customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere. We chose the seafood tasting menu, which is discounted for the summer: the seafood was excellent! The menu consisted of three seafood courses, each one better than the last, plus dessert. We particularly enjoyed the Vicenza-style cod, served among the appetizers, and the first course. Everything was excellent at a truly reasonable price! I highly recommend it.

04/07/2025: Dinner with a friend. We chose to accept the tasting menu proposal, which was also on promotion for the summer period at a very inviting price (29€). Simple dishes, cooked in a simple way, as fish requires, so that you can appreciate the flavor and freshness. But above all so that you can appreciate the hand of a good chef, who manages to highlight the flavors in a balanced and tasty way. The service is punctual and courteous, and the family-type management is appreciated for its friendliness and cordiality. Another plus is the natural ventilation that is created in the outdoor area for outdoor dinner: despite the very high temperature yesterday, we had a really good time and were able to avoid locking ourselves inside with air conditioning. Definitely a place to return to and to recommend.

The place is beautiful, welcoming, and clean; the staff is friendly, well-mannered, and very professional; the food is good, with a good variety of choices and generous portions. The view is definitely worth returning to, even during the day. It's worth the few hairpin bends to get there!

26/09/2025: We had dinner with the whole family, including four children. The premises, as always, are clean, tidy, and welcoming. The food is always incredibly fresh, high-quality, and cooked to perfection, with attention to every detail. Our first courses: tagliatelle with mushrooms and casoncelli with herbs, both sublime. For second courses, we chose the grilled meat, the spit-roasted meat, and the Florentine steak, all cooked with care, served perfectly and on time. The accompanying vegetables are equally excellent; I recommend the baked potatoes, tender on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, unique. The Florentine steak deserves an extra compliment; such excellent quality and perfectly cooked meat can only be found in certain restaurants in Tuscany. The desserts, all homemade, were also wonderful. The wait staff, as always, was extremely kind and helpful. Pierluigi, at the end of the evening, came to check on our satisfaction, and as always, he made the difference. Aside from the stunning location, with a breathtaking view, this is one of those places you return to again and again because not only does it feel like home, but the food is always better than the last. 15/10/2025: What can I say? We'd never been to this famous restaurant, and I have to say, it's a shame we hadn't! The service was exceptionally courteous over the phone during the reservation process, and as soon as you arrive, you feel warmly welcomed by the maître d', a delightful person with a level of empathy that's hard to find these days. As for the food, there wasn't a single dish we didn't like. The raw fish appetizers were exceptional, as was the octopus with herbs, and the fresh pasta with zucchini and Mazara red prawns. When I learned it was my wife's birthday, they even offered a delicious cake with a candle and complimentary glasses of sparkling wine. What can I say? I'll definitely return and recommend it.
