The only downside, in my opinion, is the distance from the counter, as they also offer table service. I would call an architect to find better solutions to make the most of the space.

18/02/2026: Now, Pasta is always a guarantee. The staff is super friendly, attentive to detail, and, not surprisingly, always smiling.
I really appreciate the "extra pasta" and "extra sauce" options for just €1, a smart choice that allows you to enjoy your dish without limits.
Furthermore, the pasta is served with a small bread roll, perfect for mopping up the sauce, a simple but much appreciated detail.
I go there often, especially for the variety of homemade pastas and sauces: I've always been satisfied.
07/02/2026: Pasta was very good and the people that worked there were also super sweet! Prices are affordable and very comfy place to eat.

Ristorante del Rifugio al Lago del Mortirolo

24/01/2026: To admire the lake, head to the pass. The starting point is the village of Monno, following the road signs.
The trek begins by following the unpaved road, continuing along the trail, crossing the Roman bridge (also called Charlemagne's bridge, according to legend, because he built it), and entering the forest to reach the lake and the refuge of the same name. Upon arriving, you'll find Cima Varadega and Monte Pagano. The route is also suitable in winter (snowshoes) and for families.
At the refuge, you can enjoy excellent traditional cuisine and relax in the hammocks.

Alternatively, you can drive over the Mortirolo Pass, but you'll need to ask for a parking permit.

If I really had to comment, breakfast wasn't up to par with everything else. There wasn't much choice, although what was served was good.

Large French windows open directly onto the garden with children's playground. Skiing is available in the winter and there's an adventure park in the spring and summer.

16/03/2026: At Classico in Brescia, you dine within a well-constructed setting, crafted with intelligence and a certain flair for effect. In our case, a table for twelve in a room all to ourselves: a rare privilege, almost like a small private courtyard. It was also a passageway to other rooms, true, but one of those passageways that didn't disturb at all, quite the opposite. Let's just say the comings and goings contributed to the atmosphere with a significant visual appeal.
Then comes the food, and there the place really raises the bar. That sort of caviar toast—let's call it that, even if the term does it less justice than it deserves—was remarkable: opulent, precise, just the right amount of brash. A bite designed to be memorable and, more importantly, capable of doing so. The steak was also excellent, enormous but not gross, cooked to perfection, with that confident handling that distinguishes a significant dish from a simple exercise of muscle.
And yet, just when the scene seemed headed for an almost unanimous triumph, the downfall came. Not about wine, not about food, but about spirits. A friend of mine, who was in the car with me, drank six Negronis. Six. Now, a well-made Negroni isn't an evening herbal tea for delicate souls: it has its own structure, its own weight, its own alcoholic dignity. The fact that after six glasses he was more sober than I, who had drunk half a glass of champagne and more mineral water than in a spa treatment, raises a philosophical question even before it's an oenological one. I'm not questioning the elegance of his hand. I'm questioning his shyness.
The bill, €1,800 for twelve, so €150 each, isn't robbery: it's a choice, and choices have their price. However, that faint feeling remains that the evening was very nice, the food excellent, the atmosphere successful, but the final price is estimated with a hint of enthusiasm more than what, upon leaving the place, one is willing to grant.
In short, Classico is a beautiful, well-constructed place, with high-quality cuisine and a clear talent for creating atmosphere. However, places that aim high cannot afford to slip up in detail, because it's the details that decide whether the memory of a dinner remains bright or becomes slightly corrosive. I had a good time there, I ate very well, but not enough to avoid the final doubt: remarkable, yes; impeccable, no.

09/04/2026: I see a lot of low ratings that I honestly can't understand.
I'll explain the concept, taking advantage of my high-level status.
There's an all-you-can-eat menu where you can order any dish from the menu by writing its number and quantity on the blue sheet.
Of course, there's a limit on the quantity per cycle (6 per sushi, for example).
The sheet allows you to order for three consecutive rounds.
The food is incredibly high quality. The chefs are close by and work right in front of you if you stay at the entrance. I've never enjoyed a shrimp sushi so much; it literally tasted like freshly caught shrimp.
I tried the Udon, the Ramen, the miso soup, and many other dishes—I have to admit that the quality is consistently excellent.
If the food is so good, does that mean it's incredibly expensive? Not really—€26 if you come in the evening, for example (€24 + €2 service charge). At lunchtime, however, it's ridiculously cheap (€15) despite the wonderful food.
But how do they manage to make a profit? First, not all desserts are all-you-can-eat; they're à la carte (and rather expensive, I must say). The same goes for drinks, and finally, some dishes are only available when ordered à la carte, while others are only available in the evening (indicated by the moon and star logos).
In short, it's a quality restaurant that offers a limited all-you-can-eat option, which becomes incredibly profitable at lunchtime. Quite honestly, being a glutton definitely allowed me to get a good deal that day, which they must have recouped with other customers (everyone ordered a drink).
I'll also mention the service: the owner is very friendly, and the staff are incredibly kind. I dropped my baguettes at one point, and the waiter/waiter sprinted to give me more, even though it wasn't necessary.
There weren't many people, which made it easy to relax thanks to the background music (the DBZ theme was playing too).
I'll find some criticisms to prove my good faith; let's just say one dish was over-sauced, and the free water wasn't cold. True Rat is clever enough to ask for sashimi and use the ice cubes.
Thanks for the exceptional discovery; if the lunchtime glitch persists, I'll definitely be back.
18/03/2026: I'd been there before and wanted to return because it was described as a simple and welcoming place, with friendly staff—and that's exactly what it is. There's ample parking and a covered patio. During the week, it's not crowded. The price is fair, not excessive. Don't expect a five-star restaurant; simplicity is the order of the day here. The interior is welcoming, ideal for a quiet dinner. There are no specials on the simple menu, but the food is good. I enjoyed the seafood ramen.

The food is excellent—the pasta and sauces are delicious, and the skewered meat is absolutely delicious. I really appreciated the chicken and rabbit options, a rarity these days, given that many places only offer donuts to keep costs down. The staff is extremely kind and helpful: despite the somewhat long waits due to the large crowd, they are always friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!

Friendly and fast staff.
Just one note/suggestion about the vegetable buffet: it's too exposed to the passing and lingering of customers, not to mention the fact that everyone is taking from the same containers.
It would be ideal if the vegetables were brought to the table like the other dishes, or at least "protected." Thank you.
