16/07/2024: We ate at the restaurant here on our first night in Garda. We were staying just up the road and this was the only place to walk to for dinner - It was great. Very reasonable prices and excellent food and service. We would definitely have gone again but it's closed for the first half of the week. Such a shame.

07/07/2024: YUMMY AND CRAZY. Nothing to say. Excellent service from all staff. EXCELLENT raw material. Never tasted or eaten flavors like this. The owner was a lovely person who showed us around the property. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

14/05/2024: Rock 1978 is not a pizzeria, it is an experience, the pizza is amazing, light dough and top quality products, the staff is always attentive and friendly and the environment is refined, very comfortable and intimate! When passing through, a stop is a must! Highly recommended. The price balances with the total experience but it should not be compared to any pizzeria, it is a pizzeria of excellence and you pay for what you receive.

21/04/2024: Very well furnished interior. Young and very friendly staff!! During the summer you can also eat on the terrace overlooking the mountains! Super. Good pizza and top tiramisu. The bill is worth every penny in my opinion. A little sacrificed as a place there in Bione.. but traveling a little to get there is worth it! Highly approved.

30/07/2024: Ho fatto un pranzo e due scene in quanto soggiornavano nell'omonimo hotel mi sono trovato benissimo sia per il rapporto qualità prezzo sia perché il cibo era ben cucinato i piatti presentati in maniera eccellente le pizze ottime complimenti al pizzaiolo Ma la sorpresa è stata la grigliata di pesce veramente buona insieme alla frittura di calamari

20/07/2024: Decent pizza and pasta dishes, but nothing special. The price is OK in terms of quality. However, a bit of a tourist trap, where you quickly get the feeling that you have to go out again. No one asked if we wanted coffee and dessert, we were mostly ignored after they quickly took our plates. We went in and paid after waiting 20 minutes. Otherwise a cozy place and good view.

07/07/2024: It was hard for me to give an opinion... because only one thing influenced the assessment - I would call it a cultural issue, although in other restaurants it was not the case, but without prejudice... Let's start with the advantages: the food (both pizzas) very delicious, but I've eaten more than one and they weren't outstanding, but you could feel the good quality of the products, you can't fault it, they were really delicious! In addition, you can say a local drink made of lemons. The service can't be faulted, but I think that given the amount of service it could have been better (the waiters were nice, but I thought about ordering another glass of wine, but I had already eaten and drank so we decided to leave). As for the appearance: a beautiful view, you can see that the restaurant wants to be of a high standard, I have nothing to complain about. The minus that destroyed everything! I understand that in Italian culture a kopperto is added and I would understand that it is a service fee or something... as long as it was clearly formulated how much and for what I am paying (the definition on the Internet states that it is a table fee) there were two of us and it was 7 euros (I wonder how much the next table with about 6 people paid). I have no problem with tipping, on the contrary, if someone serves me well, I will be happy to reward him even more! But how is it calculated? What am I paying for and I'm asking because I would like to know how to prepare for additional costs in the future. I consider the prices of the dishes to be affordable, there is only one fee I don't understand, especially since I have been to many restaurants and pubs in various locations (at Lake Garda but not only - Venice, Rome) and it was not charged to me. I am writing so that people will be forewarned, not surprised. Try it yourself and judge. As I mentioned, the food was delicious

30/07/2024: We stopped just passing through but there were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) 3 first courses and 1 second course of meat 2 bottles of water 2 desserts 2 coffees: 50 euros. We weren't made to pay for the water, I don't know if it was due to forgetfulness or because the place has just opened and they want to make themselves known but it's excellent, if you pass by there stop to eat. They have a fixed menu of few but excellent courses.

25/08/2024: We chose this hotel thinking we would find a gem given the photos which are very beautiful. Be careful, the hotel is beautiful, but just part of it….. Elevator broken! When you have the room on the 3rd floor it's not great. The reception is average, explanations for finding the room are more than light... we have to turn around more than once. We upgraded to have a balcony and a large room, we had a balcony in fact but which overlooks nothing and with the air conditioner…… The bathroom is also very old! So very disappointed with the value for money

21/08/2024: During the summer of 2024 we stayed in the apartment at Paul VI in Brescia. Kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms are basic in set-up but everything is available and in good working order. Parking in front of the apartment right in the city center of Brescia is a big plus. The entire atmosphere of the old buildings and the garden at Paul VI make you feel very welcome and provides and atmosphere of calmness: realy nice!
