While riding my motorcycle with my partner in the Taleggio Valley, I stopped at this restaurant, which I knew from previous visits. The restaurant is located next to the Sottochiesa provost church. It's a quaint establishment adorned with farm tools on the walls. It has two rooms: one on the ground floor, which also serves as a bar, and one upstairs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner serves typical Berganasca dishes, well-cooked and generously portioned. Even pairing your meal with the house wine won't disappoint! Customers are always attentive, without being intrusive. Excellent value, highly recommended!

Atmospheric local place. Delicious food. There's no menu, but the lady speaks Italian (you can practice) and explains what's on offer to guests that day.

If you love tavern-style places with modest, quality first and second course menus, then this is for you. Add to that the family-friendly service, a must-visit for motorcyclists, and the chance to make friends with the diners at the next table. Pricey? Try it and you'll be back.

Courtesy, quality, and...quantity. What more can I say? The white wine braised beef was very good, and the whole-wheat polenta was excellent.

Discovered after a trip to the mountains... Amazing, truly high-quality cuisine with gargantuan portions!!! Service was austere and super friendly, even though we showed up an hour late, practically mid-afternoon... excellent!!! Super fair prices!!! Almost low... Exceptional ravioli and the best pork shank I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!!! Places like this are rare! The chef's words.
