We went to La Polisena to celebrate my birthday, and everything was truly beautiful. The location is stunning, meticulously maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is also wonderful, perfect for unwinding and enjoying a few hours of tranquility. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. The cuisine was truly impressive: I've been eating vegan practically forever, and rarely find such a wide selection and such carefully crafted and refined dishes. You can truly see the quality and attention to detail. An experience that will remain in our hearts, we'll definitely be back ❤️

Restaurant Review Ambience: Classic farmhouse with a worthy view of the Bergamo hills. Beautiful, steep roads to get there. Food: After the tasting, I have to say I'm quite satisfied. The presentation was meticulous and the dishes were good, some more so than others. The farinata was very good and delicate. The onion broth was excellent, while the canederlo was forgettable, saved by the citrus notes of lemon. The carrot risotto was a surprise; the raspberry reduction was superfluous. The soy goulash was very good, and incredibly, they managed to make the texture seem like a real stew. The polenta was a bit salty. The azuki cake was delicious. Service: Initially, we were greeted and served by a lady who seemed cold and aloof; subsequently, the other waiters were kind and knowledgeable. Price: Not cheap, and perhaps I would revise some portions, especially for the appetizers, but overall, it was fair.

I contacted La Polisena to celebrate my sister's birthday. From the first moment, I was struck by Tiziana's kindness and professionalism, attentive and knowledgeable. A wonderful location, nestled in the hills, surrounded by greenery, where you can breathe peace and tranquility. The dishes are meticulously prepared, with masterfully balanced flavors. A very courageous choice to offer entirely plant-based cuisine. The spa experience was equally positive: relaxing and clean. I purchased some excellent wine, produced by them, at their winery. I would definitely repeat this experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has opted for a vegetarian or vegan diet, as well as anyone who would like to explore this world. There's no other establishment like it anywhere else. Kudos to the entire staff for their courage and dedication.

About ten days ago, I went to eat at this unique agriturismo. The dishes they created are vegetarian, composed with class and quality. The service is excellent, as is the ambiance. The tasting of their wines was delicious, paired with their own production. It's definitely a restaurant worth trying. Aside from a few delays between dishes, which I kindly apologized for, I can definitely recommend this agriturismo positively for its unique vegetarian dishes. My compliments.

Amazing location, beautiful rooms, and—I have to say—I had a fantastic shower. Another positive note was the good selection of wines they produce, and that's all we need to say. Dinner was the same for everyone that evening, and yet it was incredibly long: two and a half hours for a technically subpar menu, a total disappointment. The wine pairing was also incomprehensible. Breakfast—which you have to order the night before—was minimal: maybe 6 grams of granola in a small bowl, to give you an idea; everything was measured out in tiny portions and brought to the table, no buffet. We had to look for someone to make us a second coffee, and thank goodness we'd ordered more, even suspecting we'd overdone it! The most disappointing aspect was definitely the owner: inhospitable, rude, and not at all welcoming. I do save a beautiful view from a lovely room from the trip, but for the bill we paid, that's not enough.

The hotel's sustainability philosophy and vegan cuisine are the reasons we booked a package, but Polisena exceeded our every expectation! Rooms with attention to detail, stunning views, and the opportunity to take walks in the woods. The private spa (including one with a view) is incredibly relaxing. We'd like to thank Tiziana again for her wonderful welcome and professionalism, and once again compliment the chef and the kitchen. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra morning and lunch! I stayed and dined at POLISENA L'Altro Agriturismo and can only describe it as absolutely excellent. The property is beautiful, lovingly cared for down to the smallest detail; the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and made even more magical by the refined jazz background that pleasantly accompanies our stay. ​The real highlight, however, is the cuisine. As a vegan for seven years, I can confidently say that I've rarely encountered such attention and sensitivity: Chef Locatelli is a true artist, capable of transforming quality ingredients into authentic culinary masterpieces. ​The proof? My partner, who is not vegan, was literally amazed: he was completely blown away dish after dish, won over by the intense and creative flavors. ​I highly recommend POLISENA L'Altro Agriturismo to anyone looking for a regenerating weekend escape or even just an unforgettable dinner. A place where ethics meets haute cuisine.

It was exactly what I expected. The restaurant and the mostly vegan dishes exceeded my expectations. A peaceful corner in the countryside and good food.

I stayed at this location for a weekend. Although the food is very well-prepared, enjoyable, and recommended, the service remains a major sore point that needs to be addressed, as it detracts from the location and food. Recommendations: It's not possible to wait 15 minutes for check-in. It would be advisable to provide shelter in case of rain if the location requires access to the rooms and spa from the outside. In case of bad weather, consider providing an alternative to the hot tub, as it's not possible to pay for a spa service and only have the option of using the sauna and Turkish bath. Furthermore, we were offered the option of using the hot tub the following morning, but no one gave us any information on how to do so. I asked about the possibility of a massage and was told they would call the external physiotherapist to ask, but unfortunately, I never heard back. We then had an aperitif at the wine bar; it would have been nice to have more than two seats if the group is six. Finally, for dinner, if a dinner package is available, it would be helpful for the staff to inquire before giving incorrect information, before being served a bill inflated by unscheduled dishes that we, as customers, had been incorrectly told we could have. Overall: poor value for money.

Not for everyone! For me, a vegan and nature and green lover, it's a perfect place. The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by greenery. The tasting menu is reasonably priced for what you get, €50 for six courses. The portions are just right, not generous. I've read various reviews about the flavors and understand what people are referring to, which is why I'll point out at the outset that it's not for everyone. Plant-based cuisine can have strong flavors thanks to marinades, etc., that aren't present in these dishes. That's why they're good: they're not overly processed or elaborate, they're simple and authentic. If you're expecting flavors that explode in your mouth, this isn't the place for you. P.S.: 10+++ dumplings and also a soft chocolate cake. We also tasted their wines and bought some for home. Everything was delicious!
