16/07/2025: The atmosphere is unique and refined, the food is good quality, and the prices are perfectly in line with the area. The only thing that needs to be reviewed is the service, which seemed disorganized and rude, especially the green-haired waitress. Maybe it was a bad night, but it shouldn't happen again.

15/08/2025: My reviews aren't written as a professional, but simply as a customer. The place is very welcoming and clean, and the staff was quick and polite. I had a risotto that, in my opinion, was really overcooked. However, what left me a little perplexed was the price: €160 for four people, including mixed appetizers and one main dish each (rice or calzone). It seems a bit excessive for the size of the meal.

09/08/2025: First of all, my dear owner, I'm not being mean or hateful at all: if anything, you are. If you had acted honestly, you wouldn't have demanded payment after getting six out of eight orders wrong, and then served a cold pizza after a two-hour wait. Be thankful I didn't get up and leave without paying: I certainly don't need your "charity." As they say, time will tell. Ad maiora. And don't you ever offend me again: I've already been too polite.

09/08/2025: Dinner with excellent fish, delicious desserts, good service.

06/08/2025: Today we ordered a fish dish off the menu. Appetizer, first course, and fried food. Finger-licking good. Fresh and very flavorful fish, perfectly seasoned pasta. All courses were perhaps a little large. The chef's attention to plating and service. From the outside, you wouldn't guess there's a well-kept and welcoming garden where you can eat peacefully. The price is fair—not cheap, but not too much. It's affordable, and you can also opt for a business lunch for €12.00, served with the same quantities and the same care. I'll be back and recommend it.

19/08/2025: We ordered two takeout pizzas, waited half an hour for them, and they weren't even good. This is our second visit to this place, and definitely our last. Not to mention the service...

10/08/2025: I've frequented this restaurant several times, just steps from my house. Frankly and honestly, I've had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was excellent overall, from fish to meat. The first courses, second courses, side dishes, wines, and beers were truly delicious. What has always struck me are the home-made dishes and how they're crafted and prepared. The tranquility they offer is priceless. This evening I had an exquisite cheese pizza and a delicious dessert. A beautiful woman with a wonderful smile served me. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Ristorante Pizzeria Taverna Covo dell'Artista. You are artists in the kitchen. Congratulations.

24/07/2025: Miserable place, dark and gloomy premises. The owner is a grumpy old man, we were there for 10 minutes but chose to leave because the atmosphere was bad and it was not nice to be there. The owners were clearly annoyed that we did not speak Italian. When we left they got mad, we had not ordered anything when we left. We only left because it was unpleasant to be there. This place is in no way recommended!!!! Reply to the owner's comment: It is great that the owner does not want to stand by his ways, but that is ok with us, we will not sink to his level. We love Italy and fortunately found the most fantastic restaurant, somewhere other than yours. Fortunately, you can see in previous reviews that there are many who have the same opinion of the owner and the place as we do.

06/08/2025: I came back and had another great experience. The food was very well cooked. Excellent service. Splendid location. It's in the upper part of the city, very close to the parking lots. The photo is of the slice of Caprese cake I made for my birthday. We celiacs also eat very well.

17/08/2025: The restaurant and ambiance are very well-kept and clean. I had lunch outside and it was very comfortable, but of course there's a spacious indoor dining room with air conditioning for those who prefer it. I ate from the aperitif to the second course of a first course, second course, and dessert, with excellent quality and adequate quantities. The service was attentive and attentive, and the dining atmosphere was relaxing, which is certainly not a given these days! Well done! And what about the customer service? They gave me the option of adapting a set menu to meet our dietary needs—not a given, congratulations! The price was reasonable for the offerings and the service. 09/05/2025: We celebrated our daughter Sophie's Confirmation and it was a great success! The kindness with which Mr. Nicola welcomed us from the first moment we booked, the availability and professionalism of the chef who took our intolerances to heart, preparing delicacies for us. The family and home atmosphere in which we immediately felt enveloped made us forget the rain, the protagonist of the day. The room decorated in an elegant and refined way. An important moment of our family shared with wonderful people, always attentive and courteous to all of us. We couldn't have chosen a better place! Thank you very much everyone!

26/07/2025: A wonderful surprise for foodies and traveling families. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with plenty of free parking and a splash pool. The beautiful restaurant has a fresh and tasty menu with a huge wine selection. The owners are incredibly friendly, and we only want to come back for a special occasion and bring all our loved ones!

21/08/2025: For the first time, I find myself at a loss for words to write a review. I thought I was on "Scherzi a Parte" (a joke). We arrived around 1:20 PM and the chef had already left, but I didn't want anything in particular and there was no point in making him come back. A sandwich or a slice of pizza, but nothing. Since I can't eat dairy products, I asked for something extremely simple and instead I was always told... "There's no chef!" Unfortunately, I had already ordered an eggplant parmigiana for my husband and it didn't seem right to leave. To avoid starving myself, I removed the mozzarella from the eggplant and tried two, obviously cut too thin or too undercooked! My advice, even if unsolicited, is "either it closes when the chef isn't there or you learn to make something that wouldn't be bad!!!"

15/05/2025: Really good food, service too fast and not very, very professional. I was at a table with many people, the staff had already been previously warned of the presence of vegetarians but, at each course we had to specify it (9/10 times in total). A very serious flaw, despite having specified that I was a vegetarian, I was served a starter with meat and when it was time for the main courses the waitress, almost annoyed, asked me "and now what do I do for you?", then suggesting fish... In the Bergamo area, the belief is very widespread that vegetarians do not eat meat but fish yes (as if it were not fish meat), but that a restaurateur does not know the definition of vegetarian really left me astonished.

15/08/2025: We visited La Vetrata and had a truly wonderful time: the staff were friendly and welcoming, the dishes were tasty and well-presented, the portions were adequate, and the prices were fair. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. That said, I find it unacceptable that in 2025, separate bills aren't possible: in many other establishments, it's now standard practice, and in some cases, almost a necessity. I hope the restaurant can update this aspect as well, because otherwise, it's highly recommended.
