14/05/2025: Lunchtime drinks and snacks... Top-notch cocktails... Delicious sandwiches with excellent charcuterie and cheese in a beautiful square. Go for it!

20/04/2025: A decent place for an unpretentious meal. We had a very good salad, but the risotto wasn't risotto, just plain rice with sauce. The girls were friendly.

20/11/2025: I stayed there on a school trip, and it was definitely worth it: the rooms are very nice and spacious, even equipped with a smart TV and a mini-fridge under the TV. Everything is spotless, the food is very good, and its location near the center makes it perfect for walks and excursions. My final rating is 4 stars.

26/10/2025: i had such a great stay! The hotel is super cozy and the staff were all really friendly. My room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was amazing too, everything i tried was delicious. Perfect spot!

At Reef, you can meet people over a great beer or a fantastic cocktail and have a wonderful evening! A must-try, and if you're in town on the weekend, it's even more fun! Highly recommended

04/10/2025: Updated September 2025. Vegan-leaning gastronomy: a dream! Please put some vegan fish back in the fridge... yes, I know what you're thinking, and I think so too, but a dear friend of mine who eats vegetarian has just craved fish... A cutting-edge experience in Italy! There's a lot to say... in my opinion, the uniqueness lies in the fresh products that best express the relationship with the local area and, in any case, with the micro/small businesses now severely challenged by large-scale retail trade. Contrary to what one might expect, the prices, especially for fresh produce, remain affordable, often even lower than organic retail prices. By the way, I met a producer directly who confirmed that the cooperative is the one that pays the most for its work. They also pay a lot of attention to vegans with cutting-edge products: e.g., fresh vegan fish. And I'd also like to add a cherry on top: among the attentive, smiling, and patient staff, there is someone (I think it's obvious to many) who, in my humble opinion, would be better suited to a job less exposed to the public (or at least not at the cash registers). This isn't a criticism, but rather a heartfelt piece of advice and a small contribution to the cooperative's unstoppable growth. Another area for improvement: greater attention to fruit selection (at an advanced stage of ripeness). At the refreshment area: please clearly indicate what is vegetarian and what is vegan, or the server should ask... I forgot... last but not least: try the vegan desserts, they're superb! Keep up the good work!

27/09/2025: We're into organic and biodynamic produce. They're safe and certified. It's interesting that you can eat inside at lunchtime. They also sell fresh baked goods and unpackaged products (pasta, dried fruit, herbal teas, etc.). Lots of fruit and vegetables, including locally sourced produce. Membership is paid at the start and is refunded if you stop buying.

03/12/2025: Ordered two portions of grilled turkey and after 10 minutes the waiter comes back saying that it was finished.... In order not to leave without having eaten we decided to take a first course and obviously one was served in 5 minutes and the other after another 10. They were nothing special, a pasta with cheese and one with tomato sauce.

12/11/2025: Pina is Pina and her husband's pizzas are delicious at fair prices for the quality they offer.

22/11/2025: Family-run restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. If you like to eat a lot and spend little, this is the place for you.

30/10/2025: Typical Bergamo cuisine: I absolutely loved the casoncelli and ossobuco. Absolutely affordable prices for top-notch cuisine. The owners and their staff make you feel right at home. Despite a sign saying "No Dogs Allowed," they screen your four-legged friend at the entrance, and if he passes the test (90% sure!), they'll be in too! There's no getting around it: if you stop in here, you'll have a wonderful culinary and wine experience, and you'll never want to leave—if it weren't for your full belly!

22/06/2025: A few days ago, I went to dinner at this restaurant with my husband. When I booked, I specified that I was celiac and the guy who answered the phone said that, apart from the first courses, which were not suitable for my diet, I could eat all the other dishes. I was surprised by this, since I have never had problems in other restaurants. There are excellent brands of pasta on the market that, if cooked separately, can be consumed by those with food intolerances. When we got to the restaurant, they served us a small entree and then they brought my husband bread, focaccia and breadsticks. Nothing for me. Nothing at all. We waited a few minutes, without anyone deigning to look at us. Then I asked for bread for me. They replied that "since the truck hadn't passed" they didn't have anything. We didn't leave because it was almost 9 pm and we would have arrived in Bergamo too late for dinner. I got up from the table with the taste of fish in my mouth, not liking it - among the few desserts offered, the only one suitable for my diet. We will definitely not return to this restaurant, due to the lack of respect and attention to customers. Ps I have not seen the chef, nor have I received an apology from anyone.

28/05/2025: Informal dinner among colleagues, the menu is not composed of many dishes but the ingredients are refined. The dishes are tasty and presented impeccably. I also appreciated the service and discretion. Excellent wines. The wait between the last course and dessert was a bit long.

27/07/2025: Abbiamo trovato questo posto, quasi per caso durante la nostra vacanza a San Pellegrino. Eccellente, cucina casalinga, ingredienti di ottima scelta, cordialità e velocità nel servizio. Alla prossima vacanza ci torneremo.

10/11/2025: I went to this place for the first time for a company dinner. I'm giving it 2 stars, not 1, only because the bottle of wine I ordered was very good. Everything else was decidedly questionable. Let's start from the beginning. The included aperitif was truly a taste, and considering that the waiter barely even got the glasses, you can imagine. We ordered. A medium beer was included in the price. I didn't like beer, so I ordered a bottle of Montepulciano. When I asked, the waiter looked at me in dismay and told me I'd gone over my budget. I reassured him that I'd pay €20 more for a bottle, no problem. (By the way, they pointed out that I'd have to pay extra for the bottle, but at the register I didn't get any "discounts" for not ordering the included medium beer. Unprofessional.) The waiter arrived after I asked for the bottle, which hadn't arrived, and in the end, Here he comes... The waiter arrives with just the bottle and corkscrew in his hand, and after five minutes of trying to open the bottle, almost breaking the cork inside, the waiter looks at me, and I look at him, and I look at him... At which point I ask him if he wanted to pour the wine directly into my mouth or if he was thinking of bringing us a few glasses. To my more than legitimate question, he gives me the chilling response: "Oh, you don't use that glass?" He meant the flute I had the Prosecco in. I realized then that this poor guy had probably never even had a glass of wine in a restaurant. Luckily, the bottle of wine was good. The pizza, honestly, was nothing special. But the service... embarrassing.

30/11/2025: I had a soy cappuccino. It was horrible, probably the soy milk had gone bad. I gently asked them to switch to a normal espresso and they said, "Hey, ma'am, we do it like this." I paid 3 euros for this experience... Frustrated, leaving without coffee.

14/11/2025: Bar with a lovely terrace in the heart of the historic district. Good quality light meals. Pleasant atmosphere.

17/11/2025: I'd say that's the best thing. The kids' area is the best, the food is good but the service is very slow.

15/11/2025: To be called "Giro Pizza," quality must be consistent. The only good thing was the thin crust: truly excellent. But everything else... a total disaster. You started well and then completely lost your way. The thick crust was terrible, but the worst thing is that, to keep up with the volume, you even changed the type of pizza, and the quality plummeted. They seemed like improvised pizzas, completely different from the initial ones. You started well and ended terribly. A disappointing experience in every way.

01/10/2025: I come here often and it never disappoints. Very good pizza and excellent cuisine. Reservations recommended. Prices are average.
