We stayed over Easter and the experience was really pleasant.

Cena in compagnia dal sapore piacevole in tavola. Servizio attento e veloce, piatti abbondanti, calici pieni. Si è trattato di una cena organizzata, con proposte in tavola già condivise ma con la possibilità di scegliere sempre tra tre portate. Si mangia bene e si spende il giusto. La location è curata e adatta sia in famiglia che in coppia.

The place is elegant and tastefully furnished, a point that struck us right away. It is not easy to combine the rustic style of the walls with modern furniture; they did it well here. The menu is varied with local proposals and some meat-based dishes. Excellent choice of wines at a balanced price. Starter based on good quality cured meats. I have one criticism regarding the cover charge: the bread was 'supermarket' quality and the 'EU Agriculture' sachet oils can be avoided, considering the low cost of these products compared to the rest which was very good. First course tagliolini with wild boar ragout, I would say more tagliatelle but it was a good dish, excellent meat. Second courses based on meat: exceptional game - I would go back just for that - as well as for the fillet: meat is the strong point of this place, so much so that the fillet was ordered as an encore after the game (if I'm not mistaken it was roe deer) . Desserts: homemade ice cream scoop cakes, very good, also worth repeating. As regards grappas, neither good nor bad, I suggest introducing some excellence that can enhance the level of the dishes that preceded them. Very (!) attentive, friendly service, with correct timing. Balanced account. Advised.

Piacevolissima scoperta, sono stato a cena con la mia compagna per il mio compleanno e siamo rimasti super soddisfatti di tutto. Osteria davvero elegante, curata nei dettagli, intima e davvero elegante. Avevo prenotato nella saletta al piano di sotto, una grotta molto caratteristica davvero super romantica. Atmosfera splendida, un po’ fredda, c’era una stufa accesa ma si vede che lo era da poco per cui faceva freddo. Molto bello il locale anche al piano superiore con salette diverse e tutte particolari, fanno pochi coperti ma curano molto il cliente e danno un ottimo servizio. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, prezzi sicuramente allineati al tipo di location, per cui un po’ altini, ma lì valgono tutti dato che c’è qualità nei piatti ed inoltre le porzioni sono abbondanti. Abbiamo preso due antipasti, due secondi (i bocconcini di capriolo con polenta erano deliziosi, la carne si scioglieva in bocca), una bottiglia di Valcaleppio, un acqua, due dolci e due caffè. Conto in linea con quanto mangiato, sono rimasto soddisfatto, totale €98. Molto gentili nell’ assecondare la nostra richiesta di mettere le candeline portate da noi sopra il dolce, servizio cortese ed abbastanza rapido.
