30/09/2025: Welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly staff and fast service. The squid ink linguine was very good, the stuffed zucchini were excellent, and the baked potatoes were very good and tasty. The homemade tiramisu was really good and light, and the torta della nonna was also delicious! Positive experience. I will be back. Recommended. We returned after a year at the end of September, and the food was always good and the welcome was excellent. The price was fair. Excellent value for money.

01/08/2025: Very good restaurant. The setting is pleasant, in a very well-maintained garden outside and a very beautiful room inside. The service is of very high quality, the dishes are very good and plentiful. As for the quality/price ratio, it is excellent! Don't hesitate if you want to eat in Pisa! Book before your meal to be sure of having your place!

22/09/2025: My boyfriend and I moseyed our way up the street for our anniversary dinner. Melara is an authentic Italian (specifically Malanese) restaurant on one of the main streets outside of the city. The Waitress that helped us was very kind and attentive and I must note that her English was very fluent! Upon arrival, we were seated promptly! We made a same-day reservation! It was just wonderful, a very romantic little spot, "hidden gem" we stayed for. I have to say around 2 hours right up until they closed. There was another young couple that came in near the end of our meal and they sat and had dessert. I could tell that they were local. The atmosphere was wonderful. Soft music and lighting made for a romantic evening. Oh and the food it was really great. We started off with bread and homemade butter, there were three flavors. One was strawberry. The other was saffron and the other was something else and all three were just delicious and creamy and dreamy. We had a cheese platter. Kind of thing. Almost like a charcuterie board but elevated. Jam figs and fried gnocchi!? Yum! Anyway, I don't want to bore you with too much information, so please see the photos for more details on the food. We left happy and full 🥰

29/09/2025: Our best experience in Italy. The owner speaks French, a plus for us. He translated the entire menu and explained the dishes to us. He gave us very good advice. The atmosphere is cozy with soft music. The decor is very classy. And the service is perfect. Honestly, if you want to treat yourself to some very good Italian cuisine, this is perfect. If the weather is nice, you can have lunch or dinner on the terrace.

03/10/2025: Found out through a platform (The ....) and the discount was welcome! The owner is kind and attentive, we ordered the two dishes in the photo, prepared with care, but perhaps there were some unsuitable mussels that spoiled their flavor a bit.

The dessert was extra good, perfect for my taste buds, not too sugary 🤩 The music was very suitable for the restaurant, low noise, creating a charming atmosphere. 19/08/2025: My colleagues and I come to this place very often, both during lunch breaks and after work. The piadinas are excellent, especially the ones with the crispy dough, as are the beers, and the staff is always friendly and smiling. The prices are fair for the piadinas and the beer. If you're a large group, make a reservation because there's limited space, especially in the winter. They also serve aperitifs and sometimes have live music. Highly recommended.
