15/06/2025: Quiet place on Lake Como. As a restaurant it is very touristy with high prices. A Margherita costs 8.50 euros and it is not exactly the best pizza I have eaten in my life. There is the possibility of taking desserts too... but only the possibility, because a tiramisu costs more than a Margherita!

12/06/2025: We had a fantastic Lake Como trip the summer of 2024! One of the great finds was the Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria. Our youngest daughter has celiac, so finding places that have both gluten free options and take precautions to not cross-contaminate can be difficult. She enjoyed pasta one night and pizza another night, and the owner took photos to show the pizza in a separate pan. He was amazing and really cared about our daughter to make sure everything was done right. All the food was great and the service was outstanding! Please stop by if you're near the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

30/05/2025: I'll start with the positive point, clearly the price. Do you get pizzas for an average of €6? However, you shouldn't be picky. The crust is thin. The condiments aren't very good, and the welcome isn't very warm either. So, ultimately, I recommend it if you're on a budget. Otherwise, it's best to move on.

25/06/2025: A restaurant worth discovering outside the tourist zone. 90 euros for an aperitivo, a bottle of wine, a risotto, and a gigantic Milanese veal escalope. Everything was excellent. Not to be missed!

29/05/2025: A classic traditional restaurant with excellent fish dishes that is really worth the money, I have never had such good pasta with cuttlefish.

04/07/2025: Popped in for lunch. You could very easily walk past it if you are not looking out for it. Understated atmosphere, with a calm no fuss vibe. It was nice and cool on a hot Milanese day. We shared the meatball entree and both thought they were the best we had in a while. Signora had cacio Pepe with prawns and pistachio, while I had the roast chicken and roast potato - both excellent. Simple food, good ingredients, prepared with care. The sort of place that, if you lived here, would be on your favourite list.

04/07/2025: A beautiful restaurant away from the busy streets yet near some very nice high end shopping. The menu is inviting in every way: pasta dishes, fish, meatballs you name it. If you were looking for a high end traditional Italian cuisine with a little twist this is the place to go. I found the price relatively affordable for the quality of the dishes too :) Personal crush on the Benito flake pasta dish 🫠👌❤️

30/05/2025: We had lunch outside with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore The dishes offered are quite few but all very good and of high quality Very generous portions and fair prices

24/05/2025: It's a winding but well-maintained road that takes you to the summit. A magnificent view from a well-appointed terrace where food is served awaits you at the end. You can stay there and sleep. All around, a magnificent forest to discover.

25/05/2025: I called this restaurant because I am celiac. When booking I mentioned that I have a certified pet therapy Labrador dog. Unfortunately they told me that I cannot enter the restaurant with the dog. I was very sorry about this. I am writing this review for those who have medium or large sized dogs: unfortunately you are not welcome. Really sad in 2025.

10/06/2025: The best aperitif in the area💗 probably. It's always nice to go back (even just for their Tropical Spritz). 10/10 Maybe for some evenings it would be worth booking in advance

23/06/2025: El peca, a little gem in Porta Romana, with exquisite dishes, suitable for every appetite. The eponymous schisce of the much-sweated Milanese packed lunches, completely revolutionize the idea associated with their name, soft and good good but good good (especially tuna tataki with tuna sauce). Attentive, accurate service and Diego TOP! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THE TRUFFLES!

04/06/2025: Let's start by saying that we arrived at 8:15 pm, we ordered drinks, they arrived (except for a few) and then they asked us for the food which arrived after more than an hour. The waitresses were not very friendly and annoyed. The hamburgers were badly cooked and the cutlet was of poor quality. The place was very chaotic.

21/06/2025: Welcoming place and attentive and efficient staff. Quality food and generous portions. I recommend the pizzocheri, the cold cuts platter and the sciatt. Definitely worth considering. I will return to try the varieties of polenta. Recommended. Better to book in advance.

21/05/2025: As a traditionalist I wanted to try today's Japanese fashion. Some flavors are strong for my taste but it was a pleasant discovery. Good service, the girl was kind in explaining how the all you can eat works and the ordering dynamics. We will return every now and then to try something else given the richness of the menu

25/05/2025: We stayed and spent the night in this farmhouse. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all comforts, the cuisine characterized by typical local dishes, with local products and wines. The owners and staff are kind, helpful and put the customers at ease. An experience to repeat if you want to escape from the stress of the city. The prices are also competitive.

27/06/2025: I am reluctant to leave a negative review, I have dined here several times and often taken the take-away pizza. Around 7:30 pm we went to the restaurant, we asked if there was room for two but the waiter's answer was negative, sorry we decided to fall back on the take-away pizza because it was still very good. While we were waiting for the pizza in front of the restaurant two guys (friends of the waiter) arrived, they asked for a place for two and were immediately seated without any reservation. So for the waiter's friends there was room for the others, no! It's really a shame, we never expected this behavior. We pointed out what had happened to the waiter but we didn't even receive an apology... we took our pizzas because we had already paid.
