08/04/2025: It is a hotel in the center of Sondrio in the main square. It's the best here in Sondrio. It is well looked after and the rooms are nice. I've tried several. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The staff is very helpful. It remains my first choice when I'm in the area.

16/03/2025: I can't comment much on the rooms but on the Spa service which my wife and I have used several times, truly excellent and above all the courtesy and service received from the girls at the reception, all of them included. In this last experience of mine I mention one name in particular: Debora who was very exquisite and correct towards us, however good at all, excellent service!

28/03/2025: We went to 'O Macarò for Valentine's Day dinner, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations. Initially, a 20% discount and the possibility of ordering à la carte were advertised, but a few days before the event we were contacted by the owner, who informed us that the only option available would be a fixed menu at €65. When we arrived at the restaurant, we noticed that some tables were still ordering à la carte and even pizza, which was not included in the fixed menu. A customer pointed out the situation to the owner, who responded rudely, saying that those were his rules and that, if she didn't like them, she could leave. We continued with the fixed menu anyway, without pizza, but adding an extra Margherita. The pizza is definitely the strong point of the restaurant: excellent dough and really well made. The rest of the menu, however, was not up to par: the tartare was of mediocre quality and in a very small portion for an appetizer, while the pasta was overcooked (perhaps an error only on our plate, but still disappointing). The only truly worthy dish was the pumpkin pie with parmesan cream, very tasty. Another negative note was the issue of the price of the wine: we ordered a Valpolicella marked on the menu at €30, but when we got the bill we were charged €40. We called to report the error, and were told that they would refund the €10, but only if we physically returned to the restaurant the next day, which is impossible for those who don't live nearby. In short: excellent pizza, but organization and service need to be reviewed. The impression was of a lack of transparency in the management of the Valentine's evening, which had a negative impact on our experience.

19/03/2025: The food is good, but the price is definitely too high for what it offers. The thing that really disappointed us, however, was the management of the reservations. Not only did they cancel our reservation through The Fork after having dined, but we suspect that they do it to avoid paying the commission to the platform. An unfair practice that ruins the experience, despite the food being of quality. An excellent dinner, but a decidedly disappointing service.

I made my engagement request and the entire team was available to assist me via email or phone call in advance, to prepare for this special day. The hotel and the room were magnificent and the setting was very romantic, plus their room with jacuzzi and hammam was incredible. I highly recommend. Thank you again sincerely! 16/03/2025: siamo andati io e la mia famiglia per festeggiare il compleanno di mio fratello. prima di scegliere la struttura ci siamo informati su internet e ci é stato consigliato il ristorante bianca sul lago. purtroppo su internet era ancora caricata la vecchia gestione. Il pranzo é stato deludente , il menù é privo di un menù degustazione e i piatti in sé niente di che. servizio ottimo , quello che si aspetta da un ristorante con futura stella michelin. infine il conto era eccessivo per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato. consiglio vivamente ai proprietari di aggiornare il sito o per lo meno di avvertire che la gestione é cambiata.

28/03/2025: The restaurant deserves a heartfelt review, the dishes are all perfect from a technical point of view so also from the point of view of culinary taste, the excellent welcome dish makes you understand that you have arrived in the right place, a creamed cod with the right roughness and not creamy as often happens, even the "simple" pasta alla Norma is a refined dish, the pasta allo scoglio with homemade spaghettone excellent and rich in fish. The second course of shrimp truly appreciable for the perfect cooking of the shrimp and the Sicilian cannolo with dessert makes you land in Sicily, The service of the two young people in the room perfect, polite and helpful, prepared both on the courses and in the explanation of the wines, appreciated the white cotton tablecloth, the napkin with hem on the 4 sides does not go unnoticed which denotes the attention to detail of the owners. The environment is well-kept and modern to the right point. I would also like to point out an expense of € 54.00 for two people including 2 glasses of wine of your choice, water and coffee. Not expensive at all considering a lunch of this level, I can't wait to go back to taste other dishes. Bravi!
