A wonderful little place... well-kept and welcoming! The staff is kind and very knowledgeable... the dishes are prepared with care and love! Highly recommended!

I was in the area running errands and stopped for dinner because I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The warm atmosphere of a historic restaurant, as was the menu. The dishes are simple, traditional, but well-executed. The value for money was good; I spent less than €50, including a glass of wine and water. This isn't a given in Milan these days.

A traditional trattoria with a wide selection of interesting and original seafood and meat dishes. We tried the platter of fried gnocco, cured meats, cheeses, and jams. The cube of Taleggio cheese with fried sage was also delicious. The pear and Taleggio and Zola cheese and honey risottos were also delicious. The desserts were excellent. The price was fair (60/70).

Melara Restaurant is a place where the kindness and professionalism of its team and the quality of its dishes make for an excellent experience. Whether for lunch, with truly competitive prices, or dinner, it's a highly recommended place in Milan!

Quality lunch Pumpkin tortelli with melted butter, sage, and parmesan were served on a large rectangular plate. Very good! Very clean restrooms, helpful and courteous staff.

It's not that big but it's very nice. The food is excellent and the dishes are excellent but the cuisine is very simple and the staff is very helpful and friendly. If you're in the area I highly recommend it but it's very popular so it would be better to book.

10/07/2026: We stopped at Al Porto for lunch and were very satisfied. The service was quick and attentive, perfect for those short on time but still wanting a well-prepared meal. The dishes were well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and truly delightful flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a break from work. My only complaint concerns the glass of Ca' del Bosco: the price, around €16-18 for a glass, seemed a bit high. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience and we'll gladly return.
