20/05/2025: I didn't know it....stopped for a business lunch. Service, really nice environment. I don't give 5 stars to the food only because being a business lunch it was "limited" in the courses but still everything was very good.

19/06/2025: I had dinner, a place with a very nice view, you can eat both outside and inside, the place is welcoming inside. I ate pizza, very good and light, decent beer, the dessert, a Braulio sorbet, didn't satisfy me much, it wasn't a sorbet. The only negative note was a waiter, I found him very full of himself and rude with his colleagues, and not very professional with customers I would have given 5 stars ...

12/06/2025: Conosco da tempo questo ristorante, dove più o meno regolarmente veniamo a pranzo in occasioni di festa o per una pizza. Si mangia sicuramente bene e il servizio è sempre gentile. Trovo tuttavia che i prezzi negli anni siano aumentati a dismisura, forse adattandosi alla clientela della vicina Svizzera. In occasione dell'ultimo pranzo con amici italiani (settimana prima di Pasqua 2025) il commento è stato "che prezzi!"

07/06/2025: Locale originale , buffet ottimo , piatti preparati al momento , curati e molto vari , complimenti allo chef Vincenzo . Cocktail eccellenti , la ragazza che ci ha servito gentile e sorridente , ricevere un sorriso soprattutto al giorno d’oggi fa la differenza . Torneremo sicuramente .

02/06/2025: Not an interesting building with a tiny parking lot, but the interior is old and elegant. Three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two desserts, water and two drinks, about €40 per person. Everything was very good, my gnocchi with parmesan cream and truffle flakes were worth the visit alone. Too bad we were all practically teetotalers, because the sommelier has certifications hanging everywhere. The place is a bit cold, I recommend a sweater.

09/07/2025: A simple trattoria where the food is good and the weather is nice. I ordered pasta all'arrabbiata, baby octopus stew, and a coffee from the daily menu, all for €12 (with a bottle of water). A very fair price and a truly excellent summer location (shaded and with a light breeze today).

01/07/2025: This is the first time I come here in the summer and therefore it is not normal for me and I must say that the game dish with polenta was really excellent, good service and excellent structure. I highly recommend it

28/04/2025: I often frequent this place for aperitifs considering the beautiful outdoor area they have. Very good drinks but the selection of appetizers absolutely needs to be improved, dry and dry pizza, focaccia which is also particularly dry and unpresentable fried meatballs (almost raw) It's a shame because these appetizers were once very inviting and this proposal certainly doesn't represent the place as it is.

26/04/2025: Barrier is located in Piazza Matteotti, right next to the Bergamo Town Hall and just a few steps from Porta Nova, and each visit reveals an impressive attention to detail. Last night I went with my wife and, from the moment we walked through the door, we felt the perfect combination of a relaxed atmosphere and a mixology technique that is rare to find. On the cocktail menu, each creation arrives at the table like a small work of art. The Rose London mixes vodka, lemon juice, rose petal syrup and ginger beer, bringing a surprising floral freshness. The Vecchio Stile combines the strong body of Bulleit rye whiskey with vermouth rosso, a hint of chocolate and a light touch of oak smoke, resulting in a velvety and welcoming drink. The Martini State of Mind is a bold reinterpretation of the classic, combining 9 Gin with Noilly Prat Dry and sea water, finished with a lemon-stuffed olive that reinforces an unprecedented saline profile. In the Negroni Profumato, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Bordiga Bitter, Berto Vermouth and rosemary syrup balance each other in an aromatic flavor that is both herbaceous and deep. The Peso Hero, in turn, embraces the smokiness of the green mezcal, lemon and grapefruit, while the rose and beet cordial provides a sweet and earthy counterpoint. We finished with a Cosmopolitan in a drier, more elegant and incredibly easy-to-drink version — it became our favorite of the night, thanks to the perfect balance between citrus and alcohol. The food is equally carefully paired. The nachos arrive with a generous layer of cheddar salsa, spiced tomatoes, jalapeño slices, velvety guacamole and a light touch of sour panna cotta that harmonizes everything. Next we tried the Crunch Bao: two warm Chinese buns filled with crispy fried chicken, slightly citrusy ponzu mayonnaise, spring onions, sesame seeds and red cabbage slaw, each bite a perfect contrast between softness and crunch. The 180-gram Battuta di manzo was served on a crispy sesame cilada, topped with lemon mayonnaise, turmeric-flavoured carrot cream and toasted carrot pieces, revealing layers of flavour and texture. Barrier is not just a bar: it is an invitation to explore meticulous combinations, where advanced mixology and creative snacks come together to create a complete gastronomic experience. I recommend it to anyone looking for something beyond the obvious in Bergamo.

03/07/2025: I go to "La Tana Da Mario" almost every month for a business lunch. The environment is very characteristic, clean and informal. The food is good, very home-made, with super abundant dishes and the staff is friendly. As for the price, it is absolutely competitive, during working days at lunch it varies from 10/13€ Outside of working days I would say that the price is still fair. I have been going to the place for about 2 years. Highly recommended for those passing through Valle Camonica or for a business lunch!

We were here for a birthday and we had a great time: relaxed atmosphere, simple but well-prepared dishes and honest prices. Perfect for an evening with friends or as a couple, away from the chaos of the city. Recommended!

21/06/2025: We had a very bad experience, because there was a risk of rain and very strong winds right after we ordered. We had to go inside... and even though there was a lot of space and it wasn't raining yet, the manager refused without considering that we have a 9 month old baby. She moved us a little further inside the porch and when it started to rain we had to run inside and abandon food and drinks. Absurd because they have a lot of internal space to place new tables that are also light. The aperitif box was very nice but the taste of the food was not good at all. In addition to not offering any discounts, they didn't even apologize for the lack of organization.
