20/04/2025: Second time, even worse than the first Last time I had to wait 45 minutes for two pizzas in an empty restaurant but at least they were good and of normal size this time always 40 minutes in an empty, dirty and very messy restaurant among other things, Baby size Without salt And sausage and broccoli become spinach defrosted and put on pizza Never again

18/04/2025: It's not easy to find a restaurant like this around here. I stayed there for 2 days and ate twice. The spaghetti was very tasty and the risotto was also delicious. As for the pizza, it honestly wasn't that special, but it was pretty delicious. Instead, the pizza was cooked in an open fire and there were burnt parts that had to be removed before eating. Seating tax is charged separately and water is also charged.

23/03/2025: Compared to certain fast food chains that boast the name Piadineria... another level! Really worth trying.

12/03/2025: We chose the "special" piadina which was really tasty.... oh I forgot the dough was wholemeal.

12/04/2025: Good pizza, very long times, slow service despite the efforts but there were only two people (I think owners) who made 4 of them with the place full. Slightly noisy environment.

11/04/2025: Discovered by chance while walking in the area! It was an excellent dinner: quiet place, attentive staff ready to recommend typical Neapolitan dishes which were delicious! I will definitely go back

29/03/2025: Always a top experience! Every time I go to Posteria dei Sabbioni, I already know it will be a special dinner. The quality of the raw materials is simply excellent, and can be felt in every dish. Authentic flavours, selected ingredients and attention to detail that really make the difference. But what is even more surprising for me is that, every time I have dinner here, I sleep very well and digest everything without problems, which doesn't happen to me often! This shows how genuine the ingredients are and how attentive the cuisine is to lightness without sacrificing taste. Congratulations to all the staff for their passion and professionalism, see you next time!

26/04/2025: Super polite and equally professional service, typical menu of the Bergamo valleys, with very good prices. We ordered: foiade with porcini mushrooms, lamb chops with baked potatoes and porcini mushrooms and braised venison with taragna. All delicious and arrived shortly after ordering. I will definitely return

26/04/2025: Excellent restaurant, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent braised meat with taragna polenta and mushrooms. Beautiful terrace with a view of the waterfall. I recommend it, you eat really well and with more than fair prices. I definitely want to come back next weekend 👍👍

27/04/2025: I went for lunch with my boyfriend, we ate very well, menu with wide choice and quality food, excellent service, the girls were nice and very kind, good quality for the price, although the place is a little dated it is well looked after and decorated; We recommend it and we will definitely be back!

07/04/2025: Very nice location, well furnished, well lit and well air conditioned. I took a hamburger and was satisfied with it, the fact that they ask for it to be cooked is very good, which is not always a given. Friendly staff.

12/11/2024: …mi sono fermata per caso in questo locale!!…di passaggio in questo zona…ho chiesto dove era possibile mangiare lo spiedo fatto bene!!…e mi è stato fatto il nome di questo ristorante poco lontano da Toscolano Maderno!!…in collina!!…in località Gaino!!…è “Osteria ai Cantagai”!!…la location si trova in una posizione fantastica!!…pace e tranquillità!!…locale semplice ma veramente intimo e accogliente!!…molto gentile la signora e la ragazza che lavorano in sala!!…dopo avere fatto l’aperitivo ci siamo seduti al tavolo!!…e poi è arrivato lo spiedo!!…con la polenta!!…le patate e insalata mista!!…il tutto accompagnato da acqua e vino rosso!!…poi il sorbetto e a seguire il caffè!!…la signora ha gentilmente offerto il limoncello!!…che chiaramente ho apprezzato molto!!…che dire!!…lo spiedo era veramente eccezionale!!…cotto al punto giusto!!…tutto ben curato!!…come pure i contorni!!…ma che bontà!!…e tornerò sicuramente di nuovo in questa “Osteria ai Cantagai”!!…poco lontano da Toscolano Maderno!!…🧑‍🍳🍽️🔝💯‼️

19/04/2025: Really nice restaurant, the atmosphere is welcoming, reminiscent of the classic traditional place (a bit like a trattoria). The staff is kind and friendly. The food is certainly the highlight, prices definitely above average but the food is really worth it: many dishes but all quite good, especially those based on fish. Recommended for a nice dinner.
