22/05/2025: We came here based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. If you're looking for a touristy place with standard fare, you won't find it here. If you're willing to let the good local vibe guide you and let the food cook for you without any particular idea of ​​what you'd like to eat, this is the place for you. A very sweet, friendly family, and the location and cuisine are authentic. You only see locals in the restaurant.

17/06/2025: Good food, fresh fish of the day and a wonderful view. It is worth walking up there strictly with comfortable shoes no heels.

14/06/2025: A place that hosts customers outside in a splendid setting. To get to the place there is a fair amount of uphill walking and among the rocks and with the heat of these days you work up a good sweat. Once you arrive at the church, adjacent to the place, you can enjoy and have lunch with a fantastic view that justifies the small initial sacrifice. The pasta with sardines, raisins, pine nuts and wild fennel is very good. The ratatouille-type vegetables and the condiglione salad with boiled potatoes, green beans, eggs and taggiasca olives are very good. Prices are a little more expensive, perhaps because they take into account the effort to carry the food from down there to this somewhat isolated place.

18/06/2025: Excellent food but staff to review. Dinner with friends and children. The meat is really excellent, too bad I can't say the same about the staff. The waitress (owner?) evidently annoyed by the presence of the children was surly and rude from the moment we entered the restaurant. The waiter's job is not just knowing how to bring the dishes to the table or take orders. The lady could ask for "tutoring" from her colleague (employee?) instead very kind and attentive. I don't think I will return to this restaurant.

16/06/2025: If you are looking for an authentic osteria, with a cuisine focused on excellent quality meat, Osteria della Ciccia is a must. The informal atmosphere, attentive service and calibrated menus make the experience pleasant and complete. An experience to be enjoyed, booking in advance.

03/06/2025: A real gem in Calvisio! Quiet atmosphere, it feels like you're on the porch of your house. Precise and attentive service (despite all the tables being occupied). I'll give the food 4 stars but I'll add an asterisk: I would have given it 5 but in my opinion the dishes I chose weren't the best that could be made. I'd like to give it another chance. Highly recommended are the desserts, the grilled catch of the day and their aperitif with cheeses (they have an AMAZING supplier). Must try for an intimate evening

18/06/2025: Ate Fritto Misto from the boat in front of the restaurant. It was a poor and tasteless cone with a few sad wrasses, 1 mini shrimp and some pieces of squid. A beer of 5 euros. In short, a very disappointing experience.

20/05/2025: Dopo alcune volte in cui non mi ero trovato troppo bene, finalmente sono tornato a mangiare la vera pizza di Mammamia per come la sanno fare loro. Buona, buona buona !! Anche il servizio buono. Perché 3 su 5 ? I prezzi delle pizze sono alti, forse un po’ troppo alti, Erano finite le pizze grandi (teglia da 4 persone), può capitare di lunedì sera ma è capitato a me e io mi sono alzato che avevo ancora fame e purtroppo sul punteggio incide. Non benissimo dolci e caffè: panna cotta un po’ troppo liquida e dolce, caffè acqua sporca.

14/06/2025: Very nice place in the historic center. The food is really good, they use seasonal products (the menu changes depending on the availability of raw materials). The lady who served us was very nice, professional and welcoming (like all the staff). A pleasant discovery on the first evening, they were confirmed the second time we had dinner. Trofie al pesto were the best we ate in Pietra Ligure. Recommended!

The desserts were really great, 2 extra tiramisu. And to finish off, 2 top limencello. All for only €38, unbeatable value for money

13/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. We ate inside in 30°C (86°F) thanks to the fan, which was very pleasant. Amina was friendly and very kind, giving us great advice to delight our taste buds. We had the "Fritto di calamari* e gamberi" (fried calamari and gamberi) and the "Grigliata mista di pesce" (fish fried fish) (see photo), which were incredibly good.
