It was completely burnt! We ordered 4 of them, and they were all burnt, the edges completely black, so we only ate the inside! I don't recommend it.

09/08/2026: We had a stop over and since we love Italy and pizza, we tried this place. The service was quite slow, we sat outside next to the road, atmosphere was not much, the pizzas all in all were good, but not the authentic pizzas we used to in Italy

I had the "Matilda," a pizza with prosciutto and burrata, and it was simply exceptional: light dough, perfectly cooked, and quality ingredients. The prosciutto was flavorful and perfectly thinly sliced, while the burrata was incredibly fresh, rich, and creamy.
Fast service and welcoming staff.
An absolute must-try for anyone looking for excellent pizza with top-quality ingredients.
I'll definitely be back—5 stars well deserved!

04/07/2026: Every time we pass through this area, we always stop at the Onda Azzurra Hotel for dinner. They offer a completely vegan menu, carefully curated, tasty, and extensive (a mix of appetizers, two or three first courses, two or three second courses, and desserts). The atmosphere is informal, clean, and the service is very friendly.
26/06/2026: I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The owner is unfriendly. The rooms are from the 19th century. I won't stay there again.

29/07/2026: I just went to this bar and bought half a kilo of ice cream. When I got home I weighed it and it was 460 grams, and if you take away the weight of the box it will be 400 grams. The girl actually got angry when I asked for the receipt.
22/04/2026: The bar is located at the beginning of the main road, a few steps from the public beach and the private beaches. Convenient if you're arriving by bus (the bus stops nearby are: 30 Varazze Savona, 7 Savona Albisola, 7/ Savona Albisola). The nearby parking lot offers a 60-minute parking disc from May to September, or pay parking for €1.50 per hour.
The bar staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and they have a good selection of sweet and savory food. They also serve lunches and aperitifs. In the summer, they also have an ice cream stand.
There is both outdoor and indoor seating. The bar is wheelchair/stroller friendly, but the bathroom is difficult for those with disabilities due to a step and the narrowness. On the plus side, it has a handle to help elderly people get up.

02/08/2025: Sì, per fortuna, perchè stanno scomparendo: classiche ricette casalinghe cucinate benissimo; piatti leggeri, ottimi, che fanno tornare alla mente i piatti delle nonne (il pesto ne è l'esempio), cosa non facile nè scontata. L'ambiente è raccolto, semplice e confortevole, il servizio puntuale, sorridente e simpatico. Dal momento che eravamo in quattro di cui due vegetariane e due semi-vegetariani, abbiamo domandato, telefonando per prenotare, se i ripieni, visti in foto, esarebbero (come dovrebbero) stati preparati con la mortadella o meno e loro, spontaneamente, si sono proposti subito di cucinarli senza carni: esattamente cosa ci si aspetta da una gestione familiare "vera", disponibile e "coccolante". Bravissimi. Gran scoperta (e dire che viviamo a Celle...), super consigliato ma prenotate per tempo. Se posso permettermi una critica costruttiva, io ho preso un primo di tajarin neri con sugo di seppia e calamaretti: veramente buono e godurioso ma avrei o tagliato il pesce in modo che si amalgamasse meglio al formato di pasta oppure (forse meglio, in questo caso) utilizzato una pasta grossa, che avrebbe inglobato di più la dadolata di cefalopodi; detto ciò auguro buon appetito a coloro che, ingolositi da questa recensione, vorranno provare i veri sapori della cucina locale e fare un viaggio a ritroso nel tempo.

Peccato che Aperol? Non si sentiva nemmeno il sapore. Prosecco? Bo, non pervenuto.
Aperitivo pessimo, almeno per quanto riguarda il bere.
Credo proprio che per 18 euro non ci vedranno più.

2. un tagliolino ai funghi (diviso per due).
3. Un coniglio con patate (diviso per due).
4. 3/4 di vino della casa.
5. 2 caffè e due amari.
77 euro!
Alla faccia della locanda! Ahahah.
11/11/2024: Buon cibo, porzioni abbondanti, buona varietà di scelta, personale cordiale, location un po' verso l'entroterra, chiamata locanda, ma i prezzi sono da ristorante di qualità, mangiando dall'antipasto al dolce si spendono almeno 60€ a testa!
