07/06/2026: I passed by Cascina Porro on my mountain bike; the refuge is located right at the end of the "Hiroshima mon amour" trail, a beautiful single track that starts from the Giustenice pass. The inn is gorgeous; I had a sandwich that was a real treat, with homemade bread, coppa, cheese, grilled vegetables, and homemade onion jam, washed down with a fantastic craft beer. The owners are kind and friendly; I took home a couple of jams (onion and pepper) and they let me try a slice of freshly baked crostata, which was also phenomenal. My only advice: offer slightly lighter beers. At the end of Hellboy (the next trail), I crawled into a bramble bush. I don't know if the 8.5° beer had anything to do with it...

05/07/2026: Couples' dinner during the week in June. Very crowded, but we didn't have to wait for a reserved table on the sea-view terrace. The menu is varied, with the option of ordering pizza (which we didn't eat). We enjoyed the seafood dinner, including appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Everything was delicious; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The fish was very fresh, and we also had the option of ordering oysters. The price was more than good for the quality/service ratio. I'd even say it was lower than other restaurants we visited during the holiday period. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! 👏🏻👍🏻

24/05/2026: A true haven of peace, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The atmosphere is romantic and intimate, perfect for savoring cuisine that borders on perfection. The risotto della mare is pure enchantment: creamy, fragrant, and remarkably delicate. The homemade ravioli with sage and rosemary are an absolute delight, delicate and perfectly balanced. The appetizers immediately set the tone: • squid and cod served with tapenade toasts, • a succulent tuna tartare, impeccably fresh. Even the bread and focaccia deserve a mention for their deliciousness. The service is impeccable, attentive, and friendly, without ever being intrusive. An address well worth the detour, and one I recommend without hesitation. ---

19/04/2026: Wonderful experience. The place was intimate, well-decorated, and pleasantly quiet. The owner welcomed us warmly, immediately making us feel at ease. We were with our Labrador and, as requested, were seated at a table where she wouldn't get in the way of the waiter. The service was impeccable, and we truly felt pampered. My husband and I shared: - brandacujun served on seared squid and a rice wafer with Taggiasca olive pâté - grilled octopus tentacle with basil potato cream - pesto trofie with green beans and potatoes - milk cod, au gratin with cheese and served with creamy potatoes - Ligurian-style rabbit with grilled vegetables and panissa chips - Glass of white wine, water, can of Coke. We were offered an amuse bouche of fried panissa sticks, and we asked for more rosemary focaccia from the basket with various types of bread, focaccia, and breadsticks. We spent €110, and it was worth it, because this dinner left a wonderful memory, both on our palate because everything was cooked with dedication, and in our hearts because of the attention we received. We will definitely visit you again.

19/04/2026: No way...it's still one of the places in Finale where you can eat superbly. Top service and prices, in my opinion, fair. Lots of stuff.

19/07/2026: The pork fritters were watery, so definitely frozen and tasteless. The papadelle al cinghiale were horribly salty, and I couldn't find any pieces of wild boar. As for the profiteroles, they were clearly mass-produced! I wouldn't call that cooking, especially in Italy, where you can so often enjoy delicious food. The waitress was very friendly and wanted to practice her French with us. The only positive thing about the restaurant!

28/06/2026: Deborah, the pizzaiola toppp...."la bastarda" (the pizza 😁) is truly amazing... plus, it's cooked perfectly, even for takeaway, the last slice was crispy and perfect!!! Ordered Tuesday

12/07/2026: What a wonderful surprise!!! While riding our motorcycles, we arrived in Osiglia at lunchtime and happened upon a sign for the trattoria. We couldn't have been luckier. The owner who welcomed us was truly welcoming; I felt right at home. The food, all homemade, was truly excellent. Fast service. I highly recommend it.
