26/10/2025: A fantastic discovery. I went there for dinner yesterday for the first time and will definitely be back. Wonderful dishes prepared with top-quality seasonal ingredients. Honorable mention goes to the gnocchi with parmesan cream and truffle. The wine list is also excellent and extensive. The staff, led by Massimiliano and Marianna, is friendly, polite, and always attentive to their guests' needs...they make you feel welcome...

31/05/2026: The location is splendid: this trattoria sits under the pine trees, in the square next to the churches of San Martino and the Vergine, overlooking a spectacular view. It can only be reached on foot via a short cobbled path, a meeting point for the many trails that crisscross the Borgio Verezzi hinterland and a popular destination for hikers and cyclists. The menu is exclusively fish-based; the dishes we tried were exquisite and meticulously presented. The young owner is friendly and prompt. The bill is quite expensive for an osteria, but that's also true considering its location.

02/05/2026: Definitely a high-end venue with just the right number of menu options, suggesting the freshness of the ingredients. The wine list is extensive and top-quality. The tableware and tableware are carefully laid out and beautifully set. The service is friendly, punctual, and efficient. The menu offers an interesting and innovative approach. One point to note is that the portions are a bit limited, with an excess of welcome samples based on starchy foods at the beginning, along with interesting, carefully selected but minimal side dishes. In short, it's certainly not a place to bring young climbing friends with a wolf's appetite. I also found a limitation regarding vegetable options, and I wonder if there are vegetarian and vegan options, and whether intolerances have been considered. As for the prices, they seem in line with the style and quality of the venue, even compared to those in BS VR BG. I'd recommend trying it again in another context.

19/04/2026: No way...it's still one of the places in Finale where you can eat superbly. Top service and prices, in my opinion, fair. Lots of stuff.

06/04/2026: I tried the bonito carpaccio and a first course of black garlic linguine (?) with shrimp tartare, which was almost nonexistent. Both the carpaccio and the pasta were rather bland, and the portions were really small. It's frustrating to leave a restaurant still hungry. The only positive note: the marinara pizza, which we ordered precisely to satisfy our remaining hunger. The prices, however, are decidedly high for what's on offer and the cuisine's output. The quality of the fish is evident, and it's a shame it isn't highlighted, because overall the dishes lack flavor.
