After several years, we returned to our favorite restaurant in Celle (the highway construction in MI is ALWAYS A BIG PROBLEM!!), but the cuisine, the quality and freshness of the products, the good prices, the hospitality, the smiles, and the friendliness of the owner Franco, his son Alessandro, and Germana are always a MUST!!
We enjoyed a plate of small squid sautéed with good Ligurian olive oil and local artichokes, the classic and always excellent "Amore Mio" spaghettini dish, with chopped squid, octopus, and shrimp, a baked sea bream fillet with potatoes and artichokes, and a new homemade dessert... Stroscia...., some diet biscuits with hot zabaglione to dip in... mouth-watering, even for those on a diet.....with a quart of Mionetto sparkling white wine, a bottle of filtered still water, and a decaf coffee.....for a final bill of €67!!.....an excellent quality/price ratio, even compared to many local restaurants, which have significantly higher prices, even compared to Milan.

I recommend it if you're coming to enjoy the sea, the sun, and the pure, salty, and iodine-rich air of beautiful Celle Ligure.

After many months, we returned to our favorite restaurant in Celle, run by the charming Franco and his son Alessandro, where the delicious, original, and imaginative seafood cuisine has been top-notch for years!
As an appetizer, we enjoyed three portions of boiled octopus with parsley potatoes and a mix of marinated, fried, and stuffed anchovies and caramelized Tropea onions; "Grand'Italia" spaghetti with chopped seafood (octopus, shrimp, tomatoes, pine nuts, and parsley); slightly spicy orecchiette with turnip tops and clams; mixed fried fish with calamari, shrimp, and anchovies; grilled calamari with sautéed vegetables; and for dessert, meringue tart with hot chocolate; warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream; and a wafer with chocolate, meringue tart, Chantilly cream, and Nutella; a bottle of Gewürztraminer white wine, mineral water, and two coffees, for a total of €140 (I've attached photos of the dishes).
The friendly and prompt service is provided by the charming Germana and the young women who work alongside her.
The restaurant is located in the center of Celle Ligure on the seafront. It has indoor dining areas with well-spaced tables to prevent COVID-19, and plenty of outdoor seating, where you can dine on warm, sunny days.
