06/06/2025: We went there last Sunday and received a very poor welcome because we hadn't made a reservation. How could we have known, we'd just arrived? They seated us at a table, told us we had 1 hour to eat, and then slapped a QR code in our hands. Fast pizza, unfriendly service; smiles aren't included. Noisy.

08/06/2025: We come here very often. The food is great and the service leaves nothing to be desired. All the dishes are fantastic. The pizzas are fantastic, and the fish dishes are always amazing. Today we had spada and spaghetti scoliosis. It's always an experience to enjoy the pizza and the food here. Always delicious and the people are so friendly. Thank you, see you soon 😀

07/06/2025: I had dinner with my boyfriend, as a first course we had the Recco focaccia with cheese, a large portion to eat for two. As a second course we had a mixed fry, excellent and the Ligurian rabbit very good even if a little bitter. Large portions. Excellent service, the owner was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended place, we will definitely be back!!

03/06/2025: My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for dinner one evening. It's a bit hidden, in a very quiet alley. Very fast service, it seems family-run. The lady is very kind and also very friendly. She congratulated us because we had eaten everything! 😃 I would definitely go back if I were to pass through Rapallo again. I recommend the mixed seafood appetizer, the focaccia that accompanies it was very good. We had two first courses, the pleasures of life and the tagliolini with clams. Everything was delicious and very fresh. My girlfriend was very happy with the dinner!

05/04/2025: Posto perfetto per un pranzo in famiglia, coppia o di lavoro..ambiente familiare e curato, personale alla mano e sorridente.Che dire del menù, ampia scelta e rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Quando voglio togliermi uno sfizio e sedermi a tavola e mangiare bene, trattoria Ca Nova è una garanzia. A presto 😎

24/05/2025: Roberto e Simone sono due garanzie, gentili, accomodanti e professionali come tutto lo staff. Porzioni perfette e raffinate. È difficile se non impossibile non rimanere soddisfatti. Più che trattoria si può definire un Ristorante con nulla da invidiare a Santa Margherita o Sestri Levante per fare due esempi. Prezzi più che onesti considerando la fatica e la passione impiegata per la preparazione di ogni portata. Complimenti veramente

27/04/2025: Un luogo che non delude mai, ogni piatto provato, che si tratti di mare o di terra, è un piacere. Le porzioni sono perfette, e la scelta è ampia, compresi i dolci fatti in casa, che sono una coccola irrinunciabile. Tempi di attesa più che brevi, e personale sempre gentile e disponibile, attento a ogni esigenza del cliente. Dire eccellente è dire poco.

25/06/2025: An experience to forget, “Kitchen Nightmares” style. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. Not so much out of malice, but to avoid others experiencing the same disappointment. We booked a week in advance for 1:00 pm, attracted by the many positive reviews. Upon arrival, however, the wait standing for over half an hour and the total lack of organization immediately left us perplexed. When they finally assigned us a table, we were told: “Move or they’ll steal it.” Not exactly a warm welcome. The water arrived after ten minutes, the menu after twenty, the bread another ten – and only after repeated requests. After almost forty minutes, the dishes arrived only after we had warned them that we were leaving. The food, unfortunately, was unable to redeem the service. The spaghetti allo scoglio were tasteless, they seemed to be prepared with less than fresh ingredients. The scampi gnocchi were drowned in cream – a questionable choice for a fish dish – and the scampi could be counted on one hand. The place is spartan, noisy and the atmosphere is more reminiscent of an improvised canteen than a restaurant. The service seems to be the victim (or accomplice) of a careless management, and the quality of the dishes is not up to par even with the reasonable prices. Those who appreciated it, perhaps had a different experience than ours. But if you are looking for a good meal and a minimum of attention to the customer, perhaps it is better to look elsewhere.

23/06/2025: Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. The waiters ignored us for 10 minutes and didn't bring us the menu card or asked us for drinks. We left afterwards even though we were hungry :-(

01/06/2025: Nothing to complain about... beautiful Italian-Japanese fusion. Ultra-fresh local produce, impeccable service, friendly and attentive waiters and waitresses. A very nice place

22/05/2025: Yesterday our friends brought us to Novantiqua - it was a real discovery! The place is not in plain sight, it is not so easy to find, and this is its special charm. It is not a walk-through place, but as if hidden for those who really appreciate the atmosphere, taste and attention to detail. The interior is a separate story: a vintage sewing machine, shelves with wines, a retro record player, crystal - everything is filled with soul. The huge wine list was a pleasant surprise, as was the original presentation of dishes in Japanese style. Sushi, dim sum, snacks - everything is top notch. You want to keep such a place a secret, but it is impossible not to share. I will definitely come back!

02/07/2025: Spent the day at the beach and ate at the beach side restaurant. The beach is not the best with rocks, but the water is fresh and very clean and the floor is sandy once you are waist deep. We were a group of 12 and had a nice long table at the beach side restaurant. The setup is great, protected from the sun and breezy. The food was excellent and our kids had a blast. Our friends are regulars here and maybe we benefited from their prior knowledge and relationship with the staff. In any case I recommend. Comparatively affordable day at the beach, great food, clean water, good service.

14/06/2025: The pizza they serve today is absolutely not internationally award-winning, as they boast. Maybe once upon a time! Rubbery dough, little tomato (absurd for how little it costs) and few toppings.

27/05/2025: We had a very pleasant evening at this restaurant during our recent stay in Genoa. It was close to our hotel so we decided to try out the food. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was and how reasonable the prices were. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and the waiter was so friendly and such a character. Our food was absolutely delicious and I wish I had more. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It's also a little off the beaten path so it's not crazy busy and inflated prices for tourists. Come eat here!
