12/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at La Tavernetta and was truly satisfied. I ordered the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, which were simply delicious, and I finished the meal with a slice of delicious chocolate cake, a perfect finale. It's a style of cuisine that focuses on authenticity and tradition. For those who seek haute cuisine and criticize every detail, I say that dining in Osiglia is an experience in itself: it's about enjoying the moment, the setting, and the authentic flavors, not about seeking out a Michelin-starred chef. Special praise goes to the staff: everyone is kind, friendly, and always smiling. You can clearly sense that they do their job with passion, and this makes the service and the entire experience even more enjoyable. The location is another strong point: the restaurant is beautiful, perfectly complementing the mountain setting of Osiglia and offering a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. One detail I really appreciated was the many historical objects on display throughout the restaurant, such as old radios and hanging ladles. These elements add character and tell a story. I'd love to know more, perhaps next time, about when and why they were used (though the reason for the ladles is clear! 😉). A highly recommended experience for anyone seeking a pleasant, authentic meal, served with great care and passion in a charming setting.
24/08/2025: A real discovery!!! I always pass through Osiglia on my way to or from Liguria, but my dear friend Steü's happy idea to stop for lunch at Tavernetta was truly a pleasant surprise. Hospitality, quality, and a wonderful homey atmosphere... simple, fresh, and well-cooked ingredients. The trout, both grilled and meunière-style, are simply delicious; I had a tender and flavorful tagliata, and the pizzas are numerous and high-quality. Finally, a very special joy: they served me a perfect bonet. A real bonet, not a chocolate pudding like many do, believing they're serving the classic Piedmontese dessert. This was absolutely perfect!!! And I say this with good reason, as I'm an ambitious and meticulous devotee. Well done!!! Truly a place to return to often.

07/04/2026: After a long and tiring journey, on an extremely windy Genoese evening, with stomach cramps from hunger, we stopped by a pizza shop as a family and were disappointed in terms of both service speed and taste.
01/04/2026: We have waited more than an hour, then asked them where is the pizza. Then they pretended like it was taking long, but they talked in the kitchen that what happened to our pizza and why they forgot. Then still forgot one of the pizza we ordered! Then brought us a very below average pizza with pesto. The pesto tasted like it was from a supermarket. It tasted like a raw bread.

06/11/2025: Last night we had dinner with some quality friends. I was immediately struck by Monica's warm welcome, which, after seating us, elegantly guided us through the selection of a good wine. The decor is comfortable yet refined. The vintage stools near the counter add a touch of class that doesn't go unnoticed. For those of us who are truffle lovers, you can see from the photos that the quantity is remarkable. I will definitely be back.

15/03/2026: We went for lunch (my husband has been there several times for work, by the way). The place was cold and humid. It's hard to understand that temperatures are still low in March. Especially when it's pouring with rain like yesterday! Eating in the cold is out of the question! Plus, two starters, two glasses of wine, a fruit dish, and a coffee cost €93.00. It's a shame because the food is very good, but I fear that Ligurians (I'm from Genoa), maybe not all of them, use the "take the money and run" method. It's only two less customers, after all!

06/04/2026: Delicious home cooking! We had trofie with fantastic clams and freshly caught fish with zucchini, all delicious. The fixed menu is €30, including wine, with a choice of two first courses and three second courses. Very good value for money! The atmosphere, prices, portions, and presentation are like a tavern, but the quality of the food is excellent! We had a really good meal and highly recommend it. It was very busy on Easter Monday, so service was a bit slower, but the lady did a great job! Excellent lunch.

20/04/2026: Good pizza, nice setting. Too bad we walked in and no one paid attention. The waitress was chatting with some guests at a table and didn't even bother to stop and give us a table. After the conversation ended, she sat us down. When it was time to pay, she wanted to offer my mother-in-law a drink, so she waited for someone else to pay before her who had paid by card. It was our turn... the POS didn't work. Cash only, and they wouldn't even give her a receipt, giving her the non-tax receipt for the order. Truly awful. Never again. If we had time, it would have been better to insist on a receipt or not pay until they unlocked the POS.

The interiors exude a sober and sophisticated elegance, never overbearing, perfectly in tune with the setting and the cuisine. The service is one of its great strengths: professional, knowledgeable, and sincere. Tommaso delivers at the highest level, while Veronica closes the evening with elegant and distinctive cocktails. Andrea and Monica, impeccable hosts, guide the experience with ease. Monica, in particular, is hypnotic and captivating: through her stories, she leads guests on a journey through lands near and far, accompanied by an extraordinary wine cellar, a true extension of the kitchen. In the kitchen, there's an artist. The experience gained at a two-Michelin-star restaurant is evident, but never ostentatious. The menu is contemporary, creative, and bold, based on excellent ingredients and a refined balance of flavors and textures. The signature dish is undoubtedly the handmade wild boar tortelli with hand-caught sea bream dashi: a perfect synthesis of the chef's philosophy.
