18/12/2024: The best fried food I've ever eaten, the mussels were also delicious. Simple place with self-service but safe if you want to eat good fish without too many pretensions in the service.

17/12/2024: What can I say...an institution in La Spezia!!! I've been going for years despite being 100 km away... they don't accept reservations, you line up, order at the counter, it's served on a tray and you go and sit at the table. They are very quick to serve, don't be scared by the queue. Frittino, stuffed muscles, stewed octopus are never lacking, then there are the dishes of the day!! Spartan but absolutely worth trying! If you can't find parking, go to Porto Mirabello (paid parking) and cross the White Bridge.

03/11/2024: We had two excellent breakfasts with home-made baked goods (focaccia and croissants). Kind and passionate about their work. We will definitely be back to try the cocktails in the evening.

05/01/2025: Our first lunch in Sanremo was in this small bakery, which offers delicious traditional Ligurian focaccia: whether you choose the classic Genoese one, or the Recco one with cheese, you will be licking your chops, at a very low cost.

29/12/2024: The Buon Appetito focacceria is an absolute must! The real Ligurian focaccia, typical and fabulous, with an authentic and irresistible flavour. With just 2 euros you take home a nice piece that is worth every penny. Unmissable!

05/12/2024: Nice and rustic place, we had lunch with some excellent trofie on the lawn and some appetizers. The price is honest for 2 starters, 2 first courses and 2 glasses of wine, around 70 euros for 2. Excellent and fast service

13/11/2024: A super tourist trap Chaotic multilingual menu to keep all types of patrons happy but not typical and not memorable in any way. Heavy food, all very seasoned, very fatty without being good. Patience. Nice waitress service.

The warm and welcoming team found us a table, the dishes were very good with beautiful combinations of flavors with Asian influences and the wine list is magnificent! 16/08/2024: This restaurant in Bordighera Alta is truly a nice discovery. The prices are a little high but it is absolutely worth it. Very fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious welcome plate. Highly recommended!

15/12/2024: Except for the pizza toppings. The dough looked like a mix between crêpe and piadina, too thin. Mine also burned out. Raw and salty farinata. The service also needs improvement (a lot of things were forgotten).

09/11/2024: Locazione davanti al mare, locale pulito. Personale gentile anche se un po lunghi nel servire. Menu interessante anche con prodotti locali. Alcuni piatti li ho trovati un po' cari.

25/08/2024: I would have liked to give 5 stars but there is a but... Dinner booked for 2 couples, tasted like God, I swear all 4 of us were satisfied beyond expectations. Too good tuna appetizer, beef tar tar, chicken tentacle and salmon sashimi all really good for a high level restaurant. Paired with a good wine. The biggest flaw, with great disappointment, is to see the waiters at a restaurant like this with two tables next to ours taking their break, smoking cigarettes and then getting up to serve the tables as if nothing had happened. I found the whole thing unprofessional. Without taking away the fact that I will return and recommend it to everyone.

04/07/2024: Amazing place to eat, food costs 10-20€ per person. The rabbit with potatoes is the restaraunts signature dish and it shows that with it's flavor and appetizing look. The rizotto was amazing aswell. My whole family really liked it.

07/12/2024: The restaurant, located in a secluded and slightly run-down alley although close to busy transit areas, is a typical Genoese trattoria. Inside you can relive the authentic atmosphere of the past. Nothing to do with those shabby chic places that want to recreate false settings of the past... only ending up being a pathetic and botched imitation. Here time really stopped... the eighties music broadcast, quietly, by Babboleo radio in the background underlined this. This is not a criticism, however. In fact it feels like entering grandma's dining room, who is lovingly preparing tasty dishes for us in the kitchen. The scent, light, expands and announces the meal. Even the discreet and friendly service... at the right times, makes it clear that, here, modern frenzy does not enter. Where to find a place with a cart of bitters and a serving cupboard, large and in full view, today when in other places to make money every square centimeter of space is exploited with crowded tables? For some it might perhaps seem too old-fashioned? A question of taste..., but sometimes with food you don't just have to satisfy the taste, but also the heart and the mind, with memories. We ate well based on fish while spending little... or at least on average. Experience to be repeated.
