01/12/2024: Premetto che ho mangiato un menu concordato per un gruppo grosso e non scelto personalmente, ma esprimo la mia delusione, soprattutto in virtù delle altre recensioni. Un primo piatto che invece di essere potenta e cinghiale è stato polenta con un miraggio di ragù di cinghiale, corretta da quasi tutti con il formaggio grattugiato... ma quest'ultimo, invece che lasciarlo in mezzo al tavolo, veniva servito a passaggio dal cameriere, così quando è stato il mio momento, la polenta al miraggio di cinghiaie era già un parallelepipedo freddo... le patate come contorno nel secondo erano 4 pezzettini di numero... il sale e l'olio in mezzo ai tavoli non pervenuti (forse li versano a passaggio come il formaggio) e, sinceramente, se abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte di farci riportare l'acqua, non si ha avuto il coraggio di chiedere anche questo. Altra cosa non pervenuta, o quasi: il mascarpone su pandoro e panettone... a saperlo, ce lo saremmo portati da casa.

05/11/2024: Very simple place but with excellent food, I particularly liked the mixed starters and the snails. Generous portions and excellent price. Excellent service, the guys are very kind. I recommend making a reservation and if you want to eat the snails ask if they are there. I will definitely come back

30/07/2024: The food was very tasty and the staff very friendly. However, the brandacujun was a much smaller portion than the other dishes, which is a shame as it was delicious.

02/01/2025: It's the second time I've waited for the start of the new year in this beautiful place. Great food and a great DJ who transforms the midnight anticipation with something engaging with great music. I would say that only one quality of the wines present in the dinner/menu needs to be improved.

28/12/2024: Well-prepared dishes with very fresh raw materials such as roasted and grilled octopus. The same goes for the former. Good service and nice location.

30/12/2024: We ate directly on the veranda overlooking the small beach with a wonderful view, we ordered fish starters, first with fish and a second course with meat, cost and quality in line with local costs.

20/11/2024: We have been going to this restaurant for many years when we are in San Bartolomeo and the quality of the products is always excellent as is the value for money. Reservations are recommended as the place doesn't have many seats.

28/10/2024: If you are looking for an old-fashioned tavern (where you eat well and spend the right amount) this is the place for you. After many places that give off gourmet airs, finally a sincere tavern. Fresh fish, "homemade" friendliness, not a huge choice, but generous portions and excellent quality, well done!

11/12/2024: Pleasant waiter at first, then cold, and who in addition to the menu prices adds additional costs at the time of the bill for cutlery or tablecloth rental without warning in advance. Plus Tiramisu is just a glass of cream with lots of cocoa powder, no biscuit or coffee taste inside. In short, we won't come back.

30/10/2024: My travel agent booked me here for a “da sola” trip. From the minute I walked in the door to my exit three days later, everything was perfect. The room was clean (housekeeping stopped by twice a day) and the bed was comfortable. I had a gorgeous view of the Bay of La Spezia and the village. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially Sarah at the front desk). Everyone I encountered spoke English (while I know some basic Italian, they made it easy for me). The location can’t be beat for catching a boat to Cinque Terre or for walking through the village to Chiesi San Pietro, Chiesi San Lorenzo, or Doria Castle. Porto Venere is a hidden gem, and this hotel was well worth the splurge.
