I was only there for one night in transit at the beginning of November 2023 and had a very small room on the 1st floor. The room was very clean and had a nice view of the sea and the terrace in front of it. Unfortunately, there were quite a few mechanics quartered there who were running through the corridors late at night, tipsy and noisy. You have to know that this room is right next to the patio door and the door closed loudly every half hour until 2:30 in the morning. It was room number 29 as I recall. You could install an automatic locking mechanism on the door that would halve the problem (apart from the inconsiderate men, they were just men!) Otherwise it is extremely nice there, there is also a restaurant in the house where you can have a romantic meal.

Spectacular location, well-kept and clean hotel, excellent breakfast and dinner, with refined and tasty dishes. Excellent desserts, we will return.

22/09/2023: A trenta chilometri da Sassello, scendendo dal Monte Beigua, dopo una splendida passeggiata tra i boschi , ecco questa trattoria storica, molto conosciuta ed apprezzata non solo dai locali. Visti i tanti escursionisti che frequentano questi luoghi, la prenotazione è obbligatoria con largo anticipo, altrimenti si rischia di rimanere a stomaco vuoto. Servizio spartano ma cordiale e prodotti tipici per i "camminatori" di tutto il Mondo, quindi antipasto di salumi e formaggi per due e gnocchi alle ortiche con speck e Castelmagno. I primi ottimi, i secondi un po' meno ,in quanto il sapore troppo forte del formaggio, causa anche un po' troppo sale, copriva quasi completamente il sapore delicato delle ortiche. Dolci di cui non abbiamo fatto l'assaggio. In sintesi, comunque, un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio, anche perchè in zona c'è poco altro.
