01/12/2025: A very welcoming atmosphere, excellent and plentiful traditional Ligurian dishes, very fair prices. The only negative, for which the owners are not responsible, is the directions, which suggest a difficult route, even though there is another more accessible one.

21/10/2025: If you want to eat authentic Genoese cuisine, you can't miss this place! The food is delicious and plentiful. The dishes are generous and the quality is excellent. The atmosphere is super cozy and the wonderful Marcenaro family makes everything welcoming and intimate. Highly recommended, but definitely book in advance! And then work off the energy with a stroll to Madonna del Monte with a breathtaking view of Genoa!

27/10/2025: The trattoria excels in serving Ligurian cuisine in a context that tends toward standardization. In fact, the old town of Bordighera transforms into an outdoor restaurant on weekends, and the parking lot, although spacious upon arrival, feels like a stadium. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent.

10/01/2026: Excellent food, beautifully presented, but portions aren't satisfying. Wine is only available by the glass or bottle, and in any case, it's quite expensive. I'd go back for the quality of what I tasted, but not for the fullness and price.

08/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance. The wait was a bit long, but it was definitely worth it. The risotto with osso buco was delicious... perfectly creamed. The gnocchi with Castel Magno and hazelnuts were equally delicious. The service was also good. Well done!

05/01/2026: A family-run restaurant, very well organized, both in terms of kitchen and pizzeria. Service is quick and the food is good. Reasonably priced. We had tried this place before and returned because we were satisfied. We returned after two years. The food is always good, but the place is too crowded, the tables are too close together, and the wait is long. We hadn't booked, but they still found us a table. Those who arrived after us waited up to half an hour before their order was taken. The prices are a downside: two pizzas, two coffees (€2 each), a 1/4 cup white wine (€5), a plastic bottle of water (€2.50), and a €3 cover charge. These days, especially in Liguria, it's almost impossible to go to a pizzeria or restaurant because they overcharge on everything. It's a shame because the pizza is also good.

30/12/2025: Terrible pizza, non-existent leavening and terrible cooking, burnt, the staff didn't even come close to asking if something was wrong and when it came to the bill they pretended not to notice.

25/10/2025: A small, secluded restaurant with everything you need to delight you. The staff is very friendly and attentive, explaining the menu in English. The products are high-quality and homemade. A place not to be overlooked!

23/12/2025: We booked a table for a graduation party for 20 people in a room. We found ourselves standing in the open entrance, squeezing in and out of the waitresses and people going to the bathroom. The food was limited (cold cuts, focaccia, and little else), and the price was high for what we ate. And in the end, the ordered cake wasn't served. The staff was rude. Nothing was offered for the service that wasn't what we expected.

13/12/2025: Beautiful location and the aperitifs are rich but a little expensive, basically if you have an aperitif and then have another glass you pay for it as if you had an aperitif 😁

13/01/2026: Many people go here for lunch; the set menu Fisso costs 15 euros and includes a cover charge, bread, and a first and second plate. You can choose from two options for each plate. I had ravioli with sage and, for my second plate, Cognilio Ligure. Both were delicious and plentiful, so I didn't have time for dessert. Half a liter of wine costs 4 euros, so the prices are perfectly reasonable.

30/12/2025: A simple osteria, they also have a tobacconist and a bar. They have an extensive wine cellar and traditional products you can purchase. The decor is a bit vintage and shabby, but the food is good. Ample parking.

08/12/2025: Very welcoming place, I preferred eating rather than taking photos of the dishes to fully enjoy the time they put into preparing the dish. Yes, to the untrained eye, it may seem like a long wait, but then you realize that every ingredient has been carefully crafted for a harmonious flavor that delights the palate from start to finish. I recommend the pistachio pesto pasta or, if you happen to have it, the carbonara. The menu isn't always repetitive but follows the seasons a bit; they don't have mushrooms all year round here. 👍🏻 Homemade desserts, now it's apple season, and apple pie is the best. Don't come in a rush, don't change the dishes to complain. But take their advice and let them work. Enjoy your meal.
