05/09/2025: I dined at this charming restaurant a few nights ago and it was a truly pleasant experience, one I highly recommend to anyone passing through Varazze. The food was excellent! I personally opted for the fried fish and vegetables, and it was truly excellent, light, and tasty. The service was perfect, with attentive and truly helpful staff. The outdoor tables create a truly unique and special atmosphere. Highly recommended!

21/08/2025: The place is truly charming, with attention to detail and an intriguing atmosphere that makes for a pleasant stay. The cuisine also deserves praise: the dishes are tasty, well-prepared, and of excellent quality. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. We had to ask for menus, water, and even bread ourselves. The dishes arrived one at a time, uncoordinated, and the wine arrived only after we'd already started eating and after we'd requested it a second time. A shame, because the beauty of the place and the quality of the food risk being overshadowed by sloppy service. With some improvement in this area, the experience could truly be excellent.

17/08/2025: Leider wird nach kg verkauft? Schwierig sich für exakt zum Beispiel 5€ was zu kaufen. Warum wird nicht pro Stück mit festem Preis verkauft? A bread with the bread directed at the bread of the focaccia should be very hilfreich. Keine Quittung erhalten. Focaccia mit Käse eher nicht zu empfehlen. Sehr aufgeweicht. Lange Wartezeit from langsame Bedienung. Öffnungszeiten von mindestens 22:30 cann man im Summer erwarten. Part 2: "Thank you for your reply, Mr. Owner. It perfectly confirms the reasons for my review and the complete lack of professionalism of your establishment. Contrary to what you say, there were no visible price tags, making it impossible to know in advance the cost of the pre-sliced focaccia pieces. Selling by weight under these conditions is inconvenient and lacks transparency for the customer. Even more serious is your calling the failure to issue a receipt, which is not only a basic practice but also required by law, a 'bullshit'. Finally, your personal comments such as 'Mom doesn't give you enough money, do more chores around the house' and 'If you didn't like the cheese focaccia... you're the first customer in 1,978!' They are completely inappropriate, offensive, and unacceptable. Not only does he not respond to criticism, but he personally attacks the customer. His aggressive and arrogant handling of legitimate criticism demonstrates his complete inability to accept any kind of constructive feedback. His behavior, far beyond the bounds of a normal business response, is a warning sign for all potential customers.

09/09/2025: We haven't had such a good meal in a long time: pasta with seafood, mussels, and fried foods. The service was great, too. We tried to call a taxi, but the manager (or the staff) drove us to the hotel instead.

13/08/2025: Disappointing Experience During the Teatro della Tosse Event This year, like every year, we decided to spend the evening in the square in Apricale for the annual Teatro della Tosse event. Unfortunately, the experience at the local restaurant was particularly disappointing, despite the charming and unique atmosphere the village offers on this occasion. The overall atmosphere at the event was rather chaotic, but what made matters worse was the behavior of the restaurant staff, who made no effort to manage the confusion with professionalism or courtesy. In fact, we were treated rudely from the start. We sat down at a table around 6:30 PM to order an aperitif, but were asked to get up and move because our table was "in the path of the line that people would be waiting for at the cash register when the buffet opens at 7 PM." (?!) A reason that, to be honest, seemed unclear and impolite. Once we were seated at our new table, we ordered our aperitivo: prosecco served in red paper cups with "Merry Christmas" written on them (which left us perplexed). Meanwhile, some friends, in good faith and kindly, offered us two tomato salads purchased from a nearby stand, mistakenly thinking they were part of the buffet at the restaurant where we were sitting. The information in the square was vague and contradictory, and no one seemed to know exactly what was going on. The square was full of tables and stands offering similar foods (torta verde, pizza, focaccia, branda, etc.), so it was easy to get confused. Suddenly, a young man from the restaurant intervened aggressively, demanding that we vacate the table, accusing us without even giving us a chance to explain what had happened, despite the fact that we had already paid for the aperitivo (served in Christmas paper cups) and were already in line to order dinner at "their" buffet. His behavior was rude and threatening, with a dismissive and annoyed attitude. We understand that during crowded events, there can be organizational difficulties, but this in no way excuses the rude and disrespectful treatment we were subjected to. Fortunately, a nearby kiosk kindly welcomed us and served us an excellent dinner, and a kind member of the staff, who witnessed the incident, apologized on behalf of the restaurant despite being a volunteer. Due to this experience, we will not return and cannot recommend this venue, at least not during crowded events like the one at the Teatro della Tosse. Apricale definitely deserves better treatment, and we hope that the hospitality, organization, and welcome will improve in the future.

19/05/2025: Dopo un annetto circa sono tornato per un pranzo sprint . La mia opinione non cambia Consigliatissimo, Gentilezza e Cortesia è la prerogativa ma cosa essenziale piatti buonissimi . Una pecca la segnalo la sera non fa servizio. Peccato
